Our mission is to create a sanctuary where people can pause, reconnect with Mother Earth, and remember the truth of who they are. Through ancestral plant ceremonies, Indigenous wisdom, nature, community, and heartfelt guidance, we offer a safe and nurturing space for healing, self-discovery, and lasting transformation. We are devoted to supporting each person’s unique journey with compassion, humility, respect, and unconditional love, while providing practical tools to integrate these experiences into everyday life. Our greatest purpose is not to change who people are, but to help awaken the wisdom, resilience, and wholeness that have always lived within them, inspiring a life of presence, harmony, and service to others.

Nestled in the peaceful mountains of Tierras Morenas, Costa Rica, Finca de la Sol is a 15-acre sanctuary where nature, prayer, and ancestral wisdom come together. Surrounded by lush forest and the songs of toucans, parrots, butterflies, and countless other forms of life, this is a place to slow down, reconnect with the Earth, and remember the wisdom already within you.
At the heart of the land is our sacred maloca, an open-air ceremonial space designed in the tradition of the Amazon. Here we gather for ancestral plant ceremonies, prayer, music, teachings, and deep inner work. Guests rest in hammocks within the maloca, offering a beautiful opportunity to experience the simplicity and connection that has been part of these traditions for generations.
For those seeking additional privacy or comfort, we also offer a limited number of private casitas with twin beds. As Finca de la Sol continues to grow, we are gradually expanding our accommodations while remaining true to the intimate and heart-centered nature of our gatherings.
The land features peaceful walking trails, mountain spring water, sacred gathering spaces, and breathtaking views that invite reflection and presence. Our intention is to provide a safe, supportive, and authentic environment where each guest can disconnect from the demands of everyday life, reconnect with nature, and experience meaningful personal transformation through ancestral teachings, community, and the wisdom of the Earth.

Our meals are thoughtfully prepared using fresh, nourishing ingredients that support the body’s natural healing process and honor the traditional dietary guidelines followed during our gatherings. We serve wholesome, home-cooked meals inspired by local flavors, with an emphasis on simplicity, balance, and easy digestion.
On ceremony days, we provide two meals—a nourishing breakfast and lunch—allowing your body to enter the evening ceremony feeling light and prepared. Following the ceremony, guests rest and continue fasting until breakfast the next morning.
On non-ceremony days, guests enjoy three meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, providing the nourishment needed for integration, reflection, and time spent in nature.
We are happy to accommodate most dietary needs and food allergies with advance notice whenever possible.

Directions
Your journey begins by flying into Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José, Costa Rica.
Once your retreat reservation is confirmed, we will personally connect with you to help coordinate the travel option that best fits your needs and budget. We will arrange all of the details together so your arrival is as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Our guests typically choose one of the following transportation options:
• Private Transportation – A private driver will meet you at the airport and bring you directly to our meeting location at Rancho del Presente in Tinamastes.
• Shared Shuttle – A comfortable shared shuttle service from San José to Tinamastes, where we will meet you at Rancho del Presente.
• Domestic Shuttle Flight – A short flight from San José (SJO) to Quepos, followed by transportation to Rancho del Presente.
All guests meet us first at Rancho del Presente in Tinamastes, where we welcome you before continuing together to Finca de la Sol in the mountains.
We are happy to assist you with every step of your travel planning and will provide all the information you need after your reservation is confirmed, ensuring your journey begins with ease and peace of mind.
