The Bambu Guest house sits in the hills above Lake Atitlan featuring beautiful views of the lake and surround volcanoes. Featuring its own restaurant, yoga shala, and organic farm, you will have acccess to all you need.

The majority of the food is sourced from our own organic homestead Atitlan Organics. The food can be catered to fit dietary requirements.

To get to Bambu Guest House in Tzununa, Lake Atitlan, you can follow these instructions:

Fly to Guatemala City: Most international flights will land at La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City.

Take a shuttle or private transfer to Panajachel: From Guatemala City, you can take a shuttle or private transfer to Panajachel, which is the main town on Lake Atitlan. The shuttle or transfer will take approximately 3 hours.

Take a public boat to Tzununa: Once you arrive in Panajachel, you can take a public boat (also known as a lancha) to Tzununa. The boats run regularly throughout the day and the trip takes approximately 45 minutes. The cost is typically around 25-30 Quetzales per person.

Walk to Bambu Guest House: When you arrive in Tzununa, you can walk to Bambu Guest House from the public dock. It\'s about a 10-15 minute walk up a hill to reach the guest house. Alternatively, you can arrange for a tuk-tuk or taxi to take you directly to the guest house.
