From Tring station, once you have reach Puttenham, follow the road for about 4 minutes. You go over a canal bridge and no houses, hedges and fields on either side.

There is a sharp right as you come into the village. Wild Ivy Retreats is the next left turning, past a red brick wall on the left, signpost St Mary’s Church on Ivy Cottage Wall. (There will be sign posts so keep an eye out!)

Follow this church lane to the end, where the car park is on the right. Park the car.

Walk back up the lane and the Wild Ivy Retreats is on the left-hand side half way back up the lane past a beautiful house with a yellow door.

PS. Make sure your sat nav does not direct you to Ivy Cottage in Long Marston!
