Set within the stunning grounds of Braziers Park, this yoga retreat takes place in one of Oxfordshire’s most distinctive historic estates.

Nestled amongst 55 acres of woodland, gardens, and open countryside, Braziers Park is a Grade II* listed manor house with a rich history and a warm community atmosphere. Residents care for the land, gardens, and animals, creating a peaceful and authentic environment that feels far removed from modern life.

The natural beauty and quiet surroundings make it an ideal setting for an Easter wellness retreat, allowing guests to relax, reflect, and recharge.

Yoga and mindfulness practices
Morning sessions are designed to awaken the body and build energy through a combination of hatha yoga, flowing movement, core strengthening practices, and mindful stretching.

Evening sessions focus on restoration and relaxation, including yin yoga, guided meditation, yoga nidra, breathwork, and deep relaxation techniques.

All classes are tailored to the needs and energy of the group.

Directions

DIRECTIONS

By car
We encourage visitors to use public transport, car sharing, and liftshare.co.uk if possible. Please park your car opposite the main house if not advised differently. Car parking is at the owners’ risk.

By train
We suggest going to Reading station and catching the X40 bus to Braziers Park from just outside the station. You can also catch this bus from Oxford, but it is a longer ride. Goring & Streatley station is a 40-60-minute walk from Braziers over hilly ground.

By bus
From Reading station, walk 2 minutes to stop SB on Station Road. The X40 gets to Braziers Park in about 25 minutes. The X40 goes via Woodcote and takes 5-10 minutes longer. The Braziers Park Turn bus stop is the first stop after you leave the village of Woodcote and join the main road (the 4074) towards Oxford. If you miss the stop, we suggest carrying on to Wallingford and getting the next bus back. It is a long walk from the next stop that can be difficult with heavy luggage.

From Oxford, catch the X40 from High Street (T2) or Westgate (E1). The journey takes about 55 minutes, passing through Wallingford. From Wallingford, it is about 5 minutes to the stop at Braziers Park Turn.

Once you are off the bus, follow the sign to Braziers Park; it is a 10-minute walk. Follow the driveway until you reach the main house.

Accommodation

Accommodation Guests stay within the beautiful Braziers Park mansion, a charming historic country house filled with character and original features. Accommodation options include single and shared rooms. Rooms are comfortable, simple, and peaceful, offering a cosy retreat after a day of practice and relaxation. Communal bathrooms are available throughout the house, and some rooms include their own wash basin.
