How to get here:
To fly into Putumayo, you must first obtain a flight from your country to Bogota, Colombia. From Bogota El Dorado International Airport there are connections to Puerto Asis. Take a 1.5-hours flight from El Dorado (BOG) in Bogotá to Tres de Mayo Airport (PUU) at Puerto Asís city. Keep in mind that the airlines that fly to Puerto Asis are: EasyFly (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and Satena (Sunday through Friday). Connections from Bogota to Puerto Asis range anywhere from 100 to 200cad dollars. Tres de Mayo Airport (PUU) hours of operation are 11am to 3am.
More thorough details to come and the possibility of meeting in Bogota with me to assist you in the journey to Puerto Asis. It’s not difficult though….I will give you instructions on how to navigate your way through the airport.
