Rocky Mountain Ecodharma Retreat Center is a low-cost home for spiritual practice, with an emphasis on practice in nature. We are a supportive place for deep practice, a place for meditation, retreats, workshops and Ecodharma; a place for learning from nature, teachers and other participants, and a place for discovering ourselves in a wild environment.
Our vision includes workshops and retreats for activists, low-cost retreats offered in the spirit of generosity, retreats representing diverse spiritual practice traditions, and retreats for underserved communities including people of color, veterans, youth, and other groups who have historically borne or will bear the brunt of ecological and socio-economic devastation, and who are often at the forefront of spiritually-rooted activism.

Deepening our practice with david chernikoff
My first time at the wonderful piece of serenity, the South St. Vrain creek running through the site, lodge overlooking the little valley with Indian Peaks beyond. I recommend the glamping tent accommodation, very comfortable setup. The last week of August saw rain, nice breezes, hail and high mountain clouds…just as changeable as our thoughts. We had 35 in the group which made for a very very close family at the end of the week with the guidance of David’s teaching and dharma embrace. Stephanie K.
What a wonderful location. The retreats I have attended here have been uniformly useful and in many cases transforming. Shout outs to both Peter Williams and David Chernikoff!

BIPOC Retreat
This is a transformative space that is well taken care of, from the trails to the food to the teachings and leadership. It was a unique and life-affirming experience to spend time in nature and be witnessed in my full humanity as a woman of color, which is rare in many Buddhist spaces. I felt like I could bring all my ancestral wisdom and knowledge to the space with safety and a trauma-informed perspective that is also rare in retreats. Thank you most of all to Kritee, Disha, Imti, Ramon and Bianca for your facilitation of workshops and consistent support.

Beautiful setting with excellent teachers
I've been to two retreats here. The center is a special place where you can unplug and reconnect with your body and mind in a natural and supportive setting. The support includes excellent vegetarian/vegan food, coffee and tea throughout the retreat. Most of all is the support of deeply experienced and knowledgeable teachers to create a container for practice and growth. They were also helpful in organizing rides to and from Denver or Boulder as needed. Smooth and rewarding experience. The area is moose habitat and I saw moose during both retreats.
