Our retreat is located in a jungle preserve setting just a 5 minute walk to the beach. There is a beautiful and spacious pool surrounded by lush vegetation and most times a sloth or two watching from above. 14 acres of stunning tropical plants. There is a private restaurant for meals, yoga studio, air conditioned conference room, and Moloka with 6 hammocks for daily use. There are 16 bungalows for shared or private room options with fans and screens for cool ocean breezes and patios.

Meals are a highlight of the retreat. All you can eat. Pastries, freshly made fruit jams, juice, local tropical fruit, pancakes, eggs, coffee. All food separated for dietary preferences.

Directions
We are located in Cahuita, Costa Rica. From the international airport in San Jose, there are two options, a group shuttle (provided - 4 hours) and VIP regional plane to Limon Regional Airport ($450 round trip - 45 minute flight and 45 minute drive). All travel logistics are coordinated with your liaison at registration.

In 2022, Psychotherapist Irene Dubin and best-selling Author and Researcher Tradd Cotter (Also featured in the film FANTASTIC FUNGI) relaunched THE BLUE PORTAL in JAMAICA and have now found its new permanent home in COSTA RICA and in other legal settings such as MEXICO, NETHERLANDS, and more countries, INCLUDING COLORADO and U.S. states as they formally legalize for personal and ceremonial use. Passionate about our work and expertise in the field of mycology and psychotherapy, the company grows like the main Mother Tree, now Blue Portal Wellness, extending branches of research and development in Sacred Mushroom Cultivation and Medicinal Mushroom Extracts, which we also offer workshops for while at our retreats.
