A beautiful and nurturing retreat.
This is not a fancy luxury retreat but it is an intimate group lead by two passionate women in a beautiful location in the Spanish wilderness. I would call this a western style retreat rather than a traditional Peruvian setup lead by a shaman for example. Hanna and Patricia both bring their own unique energy to the retreat and I recommend Ikiranti to anyone looking for an affordable option where you will be comfortable, safe and supported.

During the ceremonies:
They do a mix of their own singing and playing drums/maracas and also sing along to songs played on a speaker. They also take turns to do individual blessings and rituals to each individual which area really nice loving. They are very intent of respecting everyone’s individual process and will not engage with you unless you ask for help. Hape is offered at the start of the ceremony only.

Accommodation:
We all stayed at an off grid home near a rural town in the mountains near Benidorm. We had two people to a room. There’s enough toilets and showers for everyone to have space. Beds were comfortable enough and everything that you need for the retreat was provided to you ie. water, towels, meals etc. The property is beautiful with hammocks, swimming pool and lots of space to spread out. There’s even some walking and hikes if you want to leave the property during the day.

After the ceremony:
We usually go to bed right after the ceremony or hang out in the room until we come down. Integration sessions the next morning begin around 9:30am. Everyone gets a chance to reflect and share with others about their experiences then we eat around 11am and the rest of the day is free time until next ceremony around 7pm.

Other things:
As this is not a luxury retreat we were asked to help with cleanup of the ceremony space and help prepare food and clean dishes. This was not a bother for me and I quite enjoyed getting to know other people at the retreat while doing chores. There’s a lot of free time during the day to reflect and chill. Patricia offers bufo (5 Meo dmt) during the day and Hanna offers kambo for an extra fee. Many of us did these and had extremely positive experiences.

Blessings to everyone on this path and to Hanna and Patricia for their kindness, attention and passion.

- Luke ❤️

Mission & Vision

Ikiranti offers you a safe and respectful space to work with Ayahuasca. Ikiranti retreats are held by 2 western women, together with more than 10 years of experience with Plant medicine work. Ikiranti in Shipibo means "feeling from the heart".
Note: we are not shamans and don´t pretend to be, but what unites us is:
A profound respect and passion for Ayahuasca and its traditions. We create secure ceremonial spaces, where you can start your inner journey to heal and explore your inner self. For us, it is of utmost importance to establish a close and respectful bond with the persons and honour the creation of sacred spaces for the ceremonies. We work with small groups of 8 and do therapeutic integrations.
We consider Ayahuasca as a gift of nature that should be affordable for all people.
