Directions

To get from Cancun Airport to Ruta de los Cenotes in Puerto Morelos, follow these steps: 1. By car (rental car): • You can rent a car at Cancun Airport, which will give you more flexibility in your travel. • From Cancun Airport, take the Carretera Cancún - Tulum/Mexico 307 highway heading south. • Drive for about 25 km (approximately 20-30 minutes) towards Puerto Morelos. • As you approach Puerto Morelos, follow the signs for Ruta de los Cenotes, and turn left onto the road leading to the route. • The drive to Ruta de los Cenotes takes about 10-15 minutes from the center of Puerto Morelos. It’s a well-marked road with signs pointing to different cenote entrances. 2. By taxi: • There are many taxis available at Cancun Airport. The cost of the trip varies depending on the season, but it is generally around 800-1200 MXN for the ride. • Tell the driver you want to go to Puerto Morelos and then to Ruta de los Cenotes. Most drivers are familiar with the route. • The trip will take 40-50 minutes by taxi to the cenotes. 3. Private transfer or driver: • You can pre-book a transfer service at Cancun Airport. Many companies offer private transfers to Puerto Morelos and Ruta de los Cenotes. • This is usually a more comfortable option, and the travel time will also be around 40-50 minutes. 4. Public transportation: • You can take an ADO bus from the airport to Puerto Morelos. The bus will take you to downtown Puerto Morelos, where you’ll need to take a taxi to Ruta de los Cenotes. • This option will take longer but is more economical. The bus ticket costs around 50-100 MXN, and the taxi from Puerto Morelos to the cenotes will be around 200-300 MXN.
