About This Center
At Adishakti we believe in manifesting the purity of our intent in our actions to support our students in transforming their lives. We feel a great connection to earth’s primal energy. We draw upon her wisdom, love, nourishment and care and seek to imbue it in our pupil. We cherish imparting lasting lifestyle changes in their lives for which we work day and night.
We are humbled by the blessing of the uncanny magic of the ancient practice of yoga which constantly keeps showing in our lives and interactions around us. We are effortlessly reminded of the timeless truth with the channeled wisdom and the presence of saints and sages.
Focusing on hands-on experiencing more than mere rote learning, our classes end up being interactive and fun. Redefining the teacher-student relationship we forge long lasting bonds with our students that reflect in their lives.
It is our endeavor to tap into the deep understanding of the flow of life. For advanced students we strive to further their practice by strengthening their personal connection with nature and revitalizing forces hidden in the depths of our being.
The pace of practice and the intensity of our classes varies, always aiming to find bliss in the vicissitudes of samsaric attachments.
Almost all our students find connections during our programs. They are accepted and guided according to the stage of their practice. Gently uplifting our students, the experienced teachers at our school hold them up in their compassion while guiding them towards their imperial self-hood .
Peaceful homestay retreat with a beautiful family I spent ten days at Pachamama on an ayurvedic retreat with a group of friends - the family are so welcoming, accommodating & nurturing throughout the whole process. Yoga/pranayama classes with Manoj's were a lovely way to start & finish each day - Manoj is a fount of wisdom & so keen to share his knowledge. His brother Ghitu is an incredible ayurvedic cook & I've never eaten such delicious, wholesome, healthy foods! Ghitu's beautiful wife Raji is an incredible therapist, who looked after me in treatment each day - I felt so nurtured & relaxed. Arun & the other therapists were a great team looking after our group (and treating all the tropical maladies that pop up on such trips - bites and scrapes) I can't recommend a stay with the family more - the rooms each have an en-suite, ceiling fan & little balcony to look out into the garden of coconut & banana trees (fresh produce featuring in your meals). The homestay is less than 10 min walk to the beach, cafes & shops & there is a resort nearby where you can pay to use the pool.
