"I recently made a truffle-journey (it was my second time). I feel very gratefull for the experience and for the excellent care I received from Nic and Sarah (and Hilde). The IFS coaching brought clarity and a certain inner-trust. On the weekend there was care in the location, the super nice food, the grounded prescence of Nic and Sarah. The care was in so many details: in the symbols on the coasters/cards, in their open and non-judgemental listening and sharing, in the flowers on the table, in their choice of music, ... A lot of subtle changes are taking place in myself. I really recommend working with 'Compassionate Self'. "

"Well organised by a really good and genuine human being - that cares. Within the first 10 minutes of us chatting before the ceremony - I felt like we know each other for years, and that I am in good hands to go through this the first time. I fully trusted Nancy - and I wasn't dissapointed.

"All communications with Nancy were clear and concise. On the day itself, despite my expected nerves, I felt incredibly comfortable and my experience was well received. This was my first time and I felt it was overwhelmingly a positive outcome. I didn’t want it to end. I felt Nancy was very experienced; from her ability to work with me to choose the right dosage, to the atmosphere created to support my journey.
If you like a soul with a gentle and loving energy, then I recommend Nancy.
I hope I have the opportunity to do this again. "
"Sarah and Nic were excellent hosts and their understanding of the plant medicine and the accompanying therapy was evident. This combination created a safe environment for me on my first time with any type of plant medicine. Each attendee was treated respectfully and everyone shared only as much as they felt comfortable, with no pressure to do or say more."
"My Inward Bound experience was, at times, surprising and even challenging but in all ways illuminating and meaningful. The team of our four facilitators led this amazing process with deep knowledge, experience, creativity, and empathy. In this supportive atmosphere, I connected with myself and the other members of our group in the best possible ways. Beyond that, the comfortable accommodations, beautiful setting, and delicious, wholesome food made the perfect setting for a journey of self-discovery."
"Dear prospective clients of Nancy,
So, you’re thinking about trying psilocybin therapy, perhaps for the first time, or perhaps you're looking for a conducive environment at a reasonable cost, to expand your spiritual aptitude. You've done your research, and you're aware of the substantial and rapidly expanding literature detailing the remarkable safety profile of psilocybin, and the promise it has shown in bringing about durable alleviation from numerous psychological pathologies. You perhaps understand the direction in which psychotherapies must evolve, due to the realization amongst a growing number of researchers and therapists, that cures for psychological, and therefore subjective ailments, must be medicines that act on us subjectively. In other words, sometimes something ‘mind-bending’, is just what the doctor ordered, if the patient is trapped in a rigid, toxic, prison of their own mind. And for that reason, you understand that a 'substance' like psilocybin, more specifically the interaction between psychedelic and your own subconscious mind, is not just the medicine, but also the doctor.
So, what you're looking for is someone to be a good facilitator of an interaction between you and medicine, and you need not look further than Nancy. What's important to understand is that whilst knowledge of psychotherapeutic techniques and psychopharmacology - which Nancy has in abundance - is desirable in a facilitator, it is completely ineffectual and useless without the unique skillset - that isn't taught in mainstream academically accredited psychological programs - that is experience and ability in navigating alternate realms of consciousness.
It appears to me, and many psychonauts will testify to this, that facilitators - Shamans as they used to be called - much like what makes a good tour guide on holiday is someone who has your best interests at heart, they speak your language whilst being attuned to the local environment and customs, and you sense that in them. A good facilitator has made a home in the strange new realm of consciousness you're experiencing. They have cultivated an otherwise invisible layer to their character, which you will detect only when you enter the psychedelic space. The result is, they are an anchoring presence, you are in their 'house', they are your shield, they are holding this space for you, and you may relax totally, so the medicine can do its work on you unhindered. The most important thing is to remember, remember, remember, surrender, surrender, surrender.
You can expect all the above from Nancy. She has an intimate understanding of everything I've outlined here and more, and she can take you on a beautiful and most conducive journey. You must listen and do as she says in order to get the most from the experience.
No two facilitators are the same, just as no two people are the same. And Nancy's personality, coupled with the way she has come to understand the science of psychedelics, and her experience working with the medicine, has led her to create a particularly beautiful sanctuary and ambiance, in which you can experience all the medicine has to offer, and derive maximum benefit.
Lastly, what James brings to the party is not to be scoffed at or underestimated, I mean this most sincerely, and Nancy also recognizes this. Firstly, dogs don't lie, which is useful, because it means when James is chill and happy, that signals to you that you can also relax.
But also, dogs are some of our strongest evidence of what we truly are, and what we truly are is love itself (whatever that means! But you may certainly experience this on your journey with Nancy and James) - other animals can be evidence of this too, but with dogs in particular - their evolutionary success has been due entirely to their befriending of the creature at the top of the food chain, us, whereas cats and horses are still wild in some sense. Signalling doubt as to the definitiveness of the term 'survival of the fittest'.
Of all the creatures, we chose them, and they chose us. They became mans' best friend. But why, and why is this important? Allow me to explain.
Because humans and dogs most easily recognize themselves in each other. All dog breeds are derived from wolves. The survival strategy that wolves evolved is predicated on a particular family structure and set of values within a pack, very similar to our own, more similar than groups of other primates in some respects. They mate for life, they share food, they look after their elderly, they show mercy, whilst having the capacity to act fiercely at the fringes of their family unit, to keep the brutality of the natural world out. 'The lone wolf' is in fact American propaganda, since a lone wolf, is a dead wolf. The particular set of values that we share with wolves maximizes the space for civility within the unit, whilst keeping brutality at the fringes to the necessary minimum. These days humans are mostly able to outsource brutality to the army, police and abattoir, and maximize to a far greater degree the space within, in which all that is good, and in which love, can find expression in the material world. This is the point of civilization. This is the driving force of evolution. It is all love finding its most stable form. Energy is energetic because it is in love, because it is love. Love is the irreducible source of creation. It is irrational and forever, it precedes all, including your rational mind, so it will not fit inside it. It is not subject to time, space or decay. It is God. It can be difficult to grasp but the fact is, there is no separation between you and all the beauty and love you can bring into the world through your ability to shape it. Your conscience is a manifestation of the force that is love, and even if you act and create in an ugly or evil way, you will always be love, learning to find its most stable form in the material realm, and the potential for evil will continue to be what gives value to love.
Love found expression through the pack, as it did through the tribe, it recognized itself in the K9 mind as it did in the human, it looked through the eyes of the dog as it did through ours, and we were able to blend our units and cohabitate a single civilization. The difference is dogs lack our intellectual faculties. Human's vivid sense of memory and imagination means we have the remarkable ability to suffer the past and suffer things that have not yet happened. Whilst dogs are incapable of tying themselves up in the knots we do. Dogs are locked into the present to a much greater extent, which is all that really exists. Their default consciousness is much closer to the state you will soon experience under the care of Nancy. They perceive the musical nature of creation, the music of sound, of colour, of matter and geometry, of life, and of behaviour, that is to say all of these things are either in tune, or out of tune. This is what negates the need for language in dogs, why would they need it? Much like humans of all nationalities understand the language of music, all dogs experience the music of life and of creation. They experience a realm of first principles, they know all they need to know about you and other creatures, and they needn’t say a word to each other about it. They live without the faculty that allows them to question the music of creation as we do, the faculty that can play an out of tune representation of reality in one’s head so loudly that it hinders one’s ability to perceive the rich beauty that surrounds them. And what are we left with when you take a creature so like us, but remove these human faculties? A creature that is constantly in love, always thrilled to see you, infinitely forgiving. This is your true nature. I commend Nancy and James, two most excellent facilitators, to you.
May the medicine untie the knots in your mind and help you to fall back into accordance with your true nature, and teach you to play the music of life again. Good luck. God bless.
William Falcus

"It was my very first experience both with Inwardbound and with psilocybin. I cannot imagine how could it be better or more transforming than it was. In all aspect – it was perfect!
The venue was great, providing all one needs for a retreat like this: beautiful nature, comfortable room, spacious common spaces, delicious healthy food, etc.
I am forever grateful to the amazing Inwardbound team (Rob, Helena and Kalyani) for creating this safe, loving and supportive ceremonial space that allowed me to have this magical, life changing experience.
What a profound journey!"
"Inward Bound is the real deal. Rob, Renee, Darragh and Cristina created a space in time where a diverse group of people with varying intentions and needs opened, shared, sang, danced, laughed, loved and healed together. Delicious food, stunning setting and beautiful people. Go see for yourself. The best retreat I've been on. "
"I highly recommend this retreat with Sarah and Nic. As it was my first experience with Psilocybin, I was excited and nervous at the same time. My experience has been absolutely positive. Sarah and Nic put their hearts and souls into creating a safe space and guiding the participants throughout the process. I went mainly for the truffle ceremony, but I got so much more than I could have hoped for: guided meditations, part mapping, a cacao ceremony, body work and breathwork - and stunningly delicious food. I remember thinking "Every second of this is just perfect!". Thank you, Sarah and Nic! xxx Linda"
"I am a psychotherapist and picky about how space is held.
What a wise, hospitable, loving team. We arrived and I was greeted with care. The 4 day retreat was explained so you felt safely held to really unfold into a deep process.
I was lucky to be joined by 9 other retreat participants who also were commited to a deep unfolding process.
I highly recommend. And I will be back next year. "
"I participated in a 5-day psilocybin retreat in the Netherlands. I had a profound experience under the influence of the mushrooms, but equally important was the presence, advice, support and all the activities offered by the therapists/facilitators. They are amazing people, experienced and professional, passionate about what they do and dedicated to ensuring the best, safest and most inspiring setting. Thanks to them, I believe, I can process and integrate the psilocybin experience in a way most beneficial for my healing and growth. They helped me understand how important it is to work with the body, to take a more holistic approach to healing and lifestyle, and they showed me ways to do it. I am immensely grateful not only for the safety they provided, but also for the joy, music, movement and companionship. I can recommend Inwardbound to anyone wanting to experience psilocybin. Don't do it alone, do it with Inwardbound! "
"Good caring person, who is easy to connect with."
"A good person who is there with you throughout the journey."
"Great experience, good people and loving environment."
"Cristina is a wise woman, a healer, and a fountain of knowledge. She is a wonderful storyteller with a compassionate and light-hearted spirit. She is a talented singer and musician and has enormous empathy for those around her. "
"It is a amazing experience. It is not a hotel or a retreat, but something more deeper and Community based. Don't expect physical privacy, only psychological discovery and community integration. The facilitators are very experienced and deal things with compassionate & LOVE."
"Sarah and Nick offer a safe space to their participants. They ARE a safe space. Everything they do is heartfelt and personalised. I feel seen."
"Renee is the most genuinely compassionate and kind person I have ever met. She is the perfect combination of professionalism, intelligence, experience, and Mother Earth energy. She is able to see into your heart, and offers advise that pinpoints your challenges and needs. She exudes warmth and love and has the singing voice of an angel."
"Darragh is the perfect combination of humour, fun, joy, experience and professionalism. His knowledge is unsurpassed and his ability to communicate with empathy and true caring is obvious. "
"This is Rob's true calling. The experience he and his fellow facilitators at Inward Bound have created is second to none. He approaches his work with empathy, knowledge, experience and a real love of humanity. Thank you!"
"You will not find another retreat centre that is better. The facilitators are the most empathetic, knowledgable, kind and talented people you could possibly meet. The psilocybin experience is only part of it - the retreat centre itself is beautifully set in nature, in miles of forests and only a 38 min walk to the sea. The vegetarian food was nourishing to the body and soul and absolutely tasty. The facilitators are there to advise and nurture your experience and involve you in breath work, yoga, talk, dance, art, music, etc. which gives you the most well rounded experience you could have! The sense of belonging and trust among the group is reassuring and creates bonds which could last a lifetime. It is a life changing experience."
"A fantastic and life changing and affirming experience expertly curated by a group of beautiful and caring human beings. Highly recommended. Everyone in our group got something from the experience albeit different in almost every case, and it was often said that they/ we got what was needed, but not always what was wanted. There was power in the group connections and shared consciousness. Very healing. "
"Very professionally done. Great support throughout the experience...which was mostly fantastic, but also very difficult at times.
Recommended!"
"A beautiful retreat, expertly guided by Niels and Femke. I came for the psilocybin journey, but in the end it was actually Niels's guided breathwork that most blew me away, which is a testament to how much more this was than just an opportunity to take psilocybin in a safe environment. It was that, but it was also so much more - two days in which I and the other seven guests could surrender to a new experience, immerse ourselves in the present, work on ourselves, try more than one new experience, and enjoy each other's company in beautiful surroundings. If you're considering psilocybin therapy, I recommend this retreat without reservation. "
"I had an incredible experience at the InwardboundRetreat! The atmosphere was simply enchanting, and the venue for the ceremony was beyond wonderful. The vegetarian food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. It truly is a magical place, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable experience!"
"I came to the retreat with quite high expectations. Being a psychologist, with adversed childhood experiences myself, and being both at the helper and receiving part of therapy, I was searching for a way to heal and reconcile from past relational trauma. This retreat extended my expectations in every single way. The location was breathtaking, the house incredibly beautyful and the vegan food both felt and tasted magnificant. But the best part of the whole experience was the the three organizers. They created such a safe environment for the group, supporting us with their humanistic approach, free from judgement, and enforced theoretical frameworks. I came in the search for healing, and can now say for sure that I am not only healed, but also transformed. I feel connected to the world outside, more grounded than ever and with a renewed love for mother Earth. This has been a pure and raw awakening experience that I didn’t even knew that I was longing for. I will forever be grateful for making this journey possible. "

"I had such an intense and great time at the retreat. I enjoyed the carefully crafted and selected elements surrounding the truffle ceremony as much as the truffle ceremony itself. I'm so grateful to have been able to spend this weekend with wonderful people and to be really close to my own body, mind and feelings in a space that felt fully safe. I whole-heartedly recommend this retreat to anyone who has already started a journey to more self-love and compassion and wants to take the next steps on their path. I was able to feel how strong my ability to be happy truly is and that I can be just that without a need to hold myself back. These impressions will stay with me for a long time and will hopefully continue to guide me on my path to unconditional self-love. "
"the staff was professional and supportive.
give us the right set and setting for a psychedelic experience.
the place is in nature far from the crowded city great opportunity to find some inner peace.. "
"The truffle ceremony last weekend helped me a lot to leave some bad feelings behind me. The ceremony was leaded by Sarah and Nic that are very empathic persons with a good feeling what is needed at the moment and a lot of skills to support the personal process like breathing exercises and body movements. I can highly recommend them."
