Directions

The retreats takes place in the Sacred Valley of Peru, about 70 km (43.5 miles) outside of the iconic city of Cusco.
Transportation to and from Cusco to the retreat venue is included in the cost of the retreat.

To arrive to Cusco, you will need to take an internal flight from Lima, the capital of Peru to the airport of Cusco. The airport is called ''Alejandro Velasco Astete International''.

We will be communicating with you as the retreat is close to start to organize with you if we pick you up from your hotel in Cusco or, if you are arriving on the start day of the retreat, we will arrange a taxi to pick you up from the airport.

Further details will be organized when the retreat booking is confirmed.

Overwhelmingly amazing

Firstly I would like to say, this has been the best experience I have ever done in my entire life at age 39. Samer and the team have designed the experience with so much love and care from the Food to the evening Conversations and medicinal practices and environmental settings. I have made real and honest friendships with the Samadi team and the other participants on the retreat. The level of knowledge and understanding is overwhelmingly amazing catered to everyone on a personal basis, if you and considering a retreat i wouldn't look any further as this is the absolute no.1 on the planet, I feel sad coming back home because of how great it actually was, but i am already looking forward to my next one next year, once again from the bottom of my heart thank you Samadi healing for the life changing experience 🙏.

San Pedro Retreat

I came across Samer through a mutual friend and thought it would be worthwhile to reach out and ask about his retreats. He recommended I do San Pedro, as it’s more gentle and applied more to what I needed.
The retreat was great, I gained some important growth from it.
Samer is very knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable, especially if it’s your first time. He is also compassionate and knows where to source the best foods.

Holistic Healing

This is my second retreat with Samadi Healing, which was a profound deepening of the experience I had during my first retreat. The San Pedro offered here is very potent, pure, and cooked with love and skill. It works on many levels, though for me it goes straight to the heart, allowing me to experience all that arises solely through the heart center.

I can also say with confidence that Samer is the most authentic practitioner I have come across in my many experiences with various plant medicines, and he practices according to his shamanic tenets across multiple domains (not just San Pedro). You see Samer's holistic shamanic approach to medicine work manifested through the additional offerings during each retreat - the Temazcal, the Andean Despacho, Kambo, Rapé, and the various hikes (to Pumahuanca or Auzangate). You can also experience his shamanism through the food offered at the retreat, which is truly some of the best I've had - made with the same care and energy that is felt in and out of ceremony.

The Temazcal, Despacho, Kambo, and Rapé are collaborative and multifaceted, working on different energetic layers to encompass a well-rounded process of healing that adapts to one's individual needs. Each deepened my process in a complementary way. This retreat we also hiked to Pumahuanca, which was, San Pedro aside, one of the most beautiful and secluded hikes I have ever been on - like a slice of Eden, a small paradise teaming with healing energy and life. The San Pedro, in combination with the hike, allows one to channel and move things through communion with nature in a way that can't quite be described, but rather must be experienced.

I truly can't recommend Samadi Healing enough - if you're looking for a life-changing experience with a shaman dedicated to his craft, you need look no further!
