Directions

The retreats takes place in the Sacred Valley of Peru, about 70 km (43.5 miles) outside of the iconic city of Cusco. Transportation to and from Cusco to the retreat venue is included in the cost of the retreat. To arrive to Cusco, you will need to take an internal flight from Lima, the capital of Peru to the airport of Cusco. The airport is called \'\'Alejandro Velasco Astete International\'\'. We will be communicating with you as the retreat is close to start to organize with you if we pick you up from your hotel in Cusco or, if you are arriving on the start day of the retreat, we will arrange a taxi to pick you up from the airport. I had experienced one-off San Pedro ceremonies with Samer over the past few years but this was the first intensive retreat experience. A safe and loving experience!
Samadi Healing offers a truly all-inclusive retreat, in the sacred valley of Peru, that allowed my wife and I to feel very comfortable throughout. First of all, the accommodations were wonderful, nestled in the fabulous gardens of Willka T'ika. Samadi Healing also personally prepares all food and snacks with love baked into every bite. Special accommodations and attention were made for specific dietary restrictions. Each ceremony is thoughtfully planned and discussions with all participants about expectations, intentions, and potential interactions were carefully reviewed and discussed. The ceremonies themselves are masterfully orchestrated. They weave traditional shamanism, icaros, sound healing, and plant medicine into a space that allows for deep healing. I especially appreciate the intimate attention from both Samer and Gemma towards everyone’s individual needs throughout the retreat. The food therapy talks were an added treat and provided insight into how we can continue to use food as medicine after returning home. Each day, there is plenty of time for personal questions ranging from alternative approaches to healing, how to bring more harmony into life, and really whatever is on your mind.
