Directions
From Aeropuerto Internacional de Bahias de Huatulco, you can take a taxi from the airport which takes around one hour and costs around 700 - 1000 pesos.
The other option is to take a local bus to San Pedro Pochutla, which operates frequently throughout the day. Once in San Pedro Pochutla, transfer to a bus or colectivo heading directly to Mazunte.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi from Huatulco for a more direct and comfortable option. The total travel time from Huatulco is about 1.5 to 2 hours and costs around 100-150 pesos by bus.
If you're coming from Aeropuerto Internacional de Puerto Escondido, you have a couple of convenient options to reach Playa Aragon (Mazunte). You can take a taxi, which offers a direct and comfortable ride.
The journey takes about 1 hour, and the fare typically ranges from 700 to 1000 pesos, depending on your negotiation skills and the time of day. Alternatively, you can use the local colectivo bus service. These shared vans leave regularly from various points in Puerto Escondido, such as the ADO bus station or near the beach areas.
The Colectivo ride to Mazunte also takes approximately 1 hour and costs around 50-70 pesos per person. This option is more budget-friendly and allows you to meet fellow travelers. Enjoy your journey!
