Mission & Vision
Caring for End of Life Transitions in the Buddhist Tradition
TLC Transitional Life Care offers spiritual assistance to those who are preparing for the transitional state, to those approaching death and who have recently died, and their families, friends, and caregivers. We aspire to ease suffering and offer support by presenting educational programs, a concise end of life manual ‘Instructions for the Transitional State’, and by providing resources, workshops, and talk groups. We acknowledge that the end of life is a profound opportunity for spiritual understanding, practice and accomplishment, and all our activities are motivated toward this. Through education and training, TLC offers affirmation and encouragement grounded in the traditional customs and rituals of Vajrayana Buddhism.
