About this Retreat
Hi, I’m Christian — a grounded and intuitive spaceholder who walks the path of transformation with deep respect for the ancient wisdom that came before us. My work is rooted in sacred plant traditions and breathwork practices that invite us to reconnect with what’s true, alive, and whole within.
Over the years I’ve worked with ayahuasca, psilohuasca, kambo, rapéh, and breathwork — each a powerful teacher in its own way. These sacred medicines open doors to deeper awareness, healing, and remembrance. I honor the indigenous traditions that have carried this knowledge for generations, while shaping it in a way that speaks to our Western hearts: grounded, safe, and accessible, yet always guided by respect and humility.
My way of holding space is calm and steady. I don’t try to lead or fix — I listen, feel, and respond to what arises. Sometimes that means silence, sometimes a word, a hand, or a look that reminds someone they are safe to let go. I trust in the intelligence of each person’s process and in the quiet wisdom that unfolds when we stop forcing and start allowing.
For me, ceremony doesn’t end when the music fades. Integration is an essential part of the journey — where the experience begins to weave itself into daily life. I believe true healing lies there: in the way we embody what we’ve seen, live what we’ve learned, and remember who we already are.
My name is Isabel.
I walk the path of remembrance — of coming home to the wisdom of the body, the whispers of nature, and the quiet knowing that lives within all of us.
For many years I worked in the corporate world, organizing, managing, and creating structure. But life had other plans. Through my own process of transformation — guided by the plants, by silence, by motherhood — I learned to trust a deeper intelligence that moves through all things.
Today, I hold space for others to reconnect with that same inner truth. In ceremony, I bring softness and presence. I listen — not only to words, but to energy, breath, and what wants to be seen. I believe healing happens in simplicity: in being seen, held, and allowed to unfold naturally.
With a background in social work, creative therapy, herbalism, and arts, I weave intuition with grounded care. I love creating beauty in the details — the atmosphere, the altar, the food — because every gesture can be a prayer.
Together with my partner Christian, I co-create So Alegria: a space of authenticity, deep respect for the plants, and the courage to meet yourself fully.
Details of this retreat
In a beautiful forest setting, about half an hour from Den Bosch, we open the space together for a three-day ceremonial weekend of stillness, connection and inner exploration.
This retreat is created in collaboration with So Alegria and Chakana Center, bringing together a shared vision of creating a safe and grounded space for deep inner work.
Throughout the weekend, you will be held by two Sacred Mother Plant ceremonies on Friday and Saturday evening. These ancient medicines invite you to turn inward, open your heart, release what no longer serves you, and reconnect with your deeper essence. Each ceremony takes place in a carefully prepared setting where safety, presence and respect are at the center.
On Sunday, we close the weekend with a traditional sweat lodge ceremony — a powerful ritual of cleansing, release and integration. After the ceremony, we share a meal together before the weekend gently comes to an end.
Between the ceremonies, there is space for rest, sharing and integration, supported by the surrounding nature and the presence of the group.
Everything is taken care of: nourishing meals, drinks, a comfortable place to sleep, and a warm, supportive environment where you can fully relax and be yourself. You will stay in one of two shared rooms, each with six beds.
The location itself plays an important role in the experience. Surrounded by forest, with a natural swimming pond and quiet places to retreat, it offers a peaceful setting to slow down and reconnect — with yourself and with others.
Before the retreat, we take time for a personal intake to ensure the experience is aligned with your situation and intentions. After the weekend, we will host an online integration and sharing circle, offering space to reflect and allow the experience to further settle into daily life.
You will be supported throughout the weekend by experienced and caring facilitators, within a small group that allows for personal attention, safety and genuine connection.
After signing up, you will receive an intake form by email. Once completed, we will schedule a short call (by phone or online) to connect personally and go through any questions. If everything feels aligned and there are no contraindications, we will proceed with confirming your spot.
Your safety and well-being are important to us, which is why we take this extra care before confirming your participation. Once your registration is complete, we warmly welcome you into the ceremony and the journey that awaits.
