About this Retreat
Hello beautiful healers and seekers. I’m Kelly McLoughlin, your retreat leader and founder of Panama Wellness Retreats.
I’ve spent most of my adult life in the healing and wellness space—supporting people to get sober, release excess weight, calm inflammation, and most importantly, change the subconscious patterns that kept them stuck. Through hypnotherapy, education, and nutrition (especially metabolic/healing foods), I’ve watched women reclaim their energy, their confidence, and their God-given design for wellness.
Yes, sobriety is part of my story too. I know what it’s like to use alcohol to cope, to feel ashamed afterward, and to wonder if freedom was for other people. That’s why I create spaces that are compassionate, not clinical—places where you can admit what hurts, rewrite the belief behind it, and actually heal.
My retreats are built for women who are ready to restore—whether that’s from alcohol, burnout, illness, or years of self-neglect. You’re not broken. You just haven’t been given the right environment to heal in.
Kelly is also the owner and founder of FlowerChild LLC, a Washington-based CBD company operating since 2014, offering high-quality, full-spectrum CBD and CBG oils, tinctures, and salves.
Details of this retreat
"Sip on Life" is a women-only sober retreat designed for high-functioning women who are tired of the “I’ll stop tomorrow” loop and want a real reset—without shame, lectures, or white-knuckling. Hosted in El Valle de Antón, Panama, a lush volcanic mountain valley known for cool air, waterfalls, and thick green calm, this experience uses nature and nutrition to help your nervous system downshift so change can actually stick.
You’ll stay at Caracoral Boutique Hotel, a quiet, nature-surrounded sanctuary that feels private and contained—perfect for deep inner work. Days are intentionally paced: mornings begin with meditation, breathwork, and gentle movement; meals follow a carnivore/ketovore-style nutrition approach to stabilize cravings, energy, mood, and sleep. The core of the retreat includes hypnosis sessions, energy healing, guided mindset work, supportive small-group circles, art therapy, and practical nervous-system tools you’ll use long after you leave.
Between sessions, you’ll reconnect to your body through nature immersion—walks, scenic excursions, and restorative downtime that helps the work land. You’ll also have access to on-site amenities like the pool, plus quiet garden spaces for reflection. The overall vibe is grounded, intimate, and deeply supportive—not clinical, not woo-woo, and definitely not a vacation disguised as recovery. You are a mere 5 minute walk into town where you can visit the wonderful arts and crafts market, look at exotic tropical plants and butterflies and explore our special little town.
You’ll come away with clearer thinking, steadier energy, fewer cravings, and a stronger sense of self-trust—plus a concrete plan for navigating triggers at home. Most importantly, you’ll leave with a sober identity that feels natural—not forced—built through embodied practice, real support, and a setting that makes it easier to choose yourself.
