About this Retreat
Cathleen Kelly is the Sole Proprietor and Founder of Holistic Horizons (at Fiddlehead Grove Retreat and Healing Center), a private nurse-healer practice in the Adirondack foothills. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Keuka College, and a Master of Science in Holistic Nursing from Westbrook University.
With over forty years of experience from ICU to homecare, Ms. Kelly assists both medical professionals and lay persons to integrate the innate healing wisdom of nature and intuition with traditional healthcare using practical tools including Reiki, Reflexology, Yoga, Sound Healing (Gong/Crystal Bowl) and Mantra Meditation. Cathleen is a Reiki Master, a certified Holistic Nurse (1999), and a certified Instructor for Radiant Child Yoga (2017) and Kundalini Yoga (2016).
Cathleen is author of Recipes for Healthier Living, The Rainbow Octave, Pleiades Child, The Sloth and The Dragonfly, and Stardust: A Collection of Prose and Poetry.

What do sound healing, reflexology, and gong bath have in common? They each offer deep relaxation, stress, relief, and healing via differing pathways in the bodymind. Reflexology focuses on applying pressure to areas on the feet and hands to promote equilibrium in the corresponding body parts. Sound therapy uses instruments like chimes, crystal bowls, drums, and gongs to create resonant frequencies that induce meditative states. A gong bath is an extended meditative experience, cleansing the body and energy field (aura) of clutter and stagnation.
