About this Retreat
Dr. Crystyn Scott is a clinical and counselling psychologist with a Master’s and Doctorate completed in the United Kingdom. At Afterlight Retreats she is a certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapist, trained at the Integrative Psychiatric Institute in Oregon and Colorado. With a warm, grounded, and compassionate presence, Dr. Scott meets individuals exactly where they are on their healing journey.
Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and EMDR, supporting those navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and personal growth. She brings a deep respect for both evidence-based psychology and holistic healing practices.
Dr. Scott also works as a clinical supervisor and mentor to trainee psychologists and has supervised Master’s students at the University of Bristol. Her work spans cultures and continents, with experience practicing in Bali, Vietnam, Australia, and the Caribbean.
In Trinidad and Tobago, she hosts low-cost wellness events that create accessible, supportive spaces for reflection, healing, and community connection. In Jamaica, 10% of all After Light retreat profits directly fund mental health support for individuals affected by Hurricane Melissia.

5-Day Psilocybin Retreat | Negril, Jamaica | March, 4th - 8th , 2026
Hosted in a private, oceanfront villa, this 5-day small-cohort program is Afterlight’s most comprehensive pathway for clients seeking deep psychological work held in an environment of safety, warmth, and clinical expertise. Each residency is small by design: ten participants, three guides, and continuous therapeutic attention.
Led by PhD psychologists and trauma-trained therapists, the retreat blends structured preparation, guided psilocybin sessions, integration circles, and curated sensory experiences that help insights move into lived, lasting change.
Best for:
Those seeking the deepest, most supported version of psilocybin-assisted therapy — a clinically grounded, restorative reset in a setting designed to help the work land fully in mind, body, and identity.
