Do Not Disturb: A Weekend of Protected Attention

This retreat offers a weekend of uninterrupted time, held within a small group.

This is not a silent retreat, but a shared one — with room for both connection and privacy. Meals are shared, and the days are lightly structured. Conversation comes and goes naturally.

Phones are set aside and daily life is taken care of, so attention doesn’t have to keep shifting. The atmosphere is quiet but warm, allowing attention to continue.

Creative Mill also hosts A Room of Your Own, a longer retreat held in the same setting.

Schedule

A Sample Day at Do Not Disturb

The days are lightly structured, with a few shared moments and plenty of open time.

Morning
The day begins simply, with an optional short meditation for those who wish, followed by a shared breakfast.

Late Morning / Midday
After breakfast, time opens. You might return to your room, spend time in the studio, take a walk in nature, read, journal, rest, or follow a thought without interruption. Lunch is shared at a set time.

Afternoon
The afternoon remains open, with space to be on your own or alongside others, indoors or out. There may be a gentle, optional shared moment during the weekend.

Evening
We come together again for a homemade evening meal. The evening is then free — for conversation, quiet time, or rest.

The rhythm of the weekend is shaped by a small number of shared touchpoints rather than a full schedule, offering both connection and time that is truly your own.
Note: Schedule is approximate and may change
