REALIGNMENT — 7 Days | Reset & Return to Your Natural Rhythm

The day begins at sunrise with a morning meditation and cacao activation, inviting presence, openness, and gentle connection with the body and breath. This is followed by Kundalini Yoga and breathwork, adapted for all mobilities, supporting energy flow, emotional release, and nervous system regulation.

After practice, participants enjoy a nourishing, locally sourced breakfast, accompanied by plentiful potentized water to support deep hydration.

In the morning, participants engage in weekly therapeutic sessions (one per week), such as Watsu, therapeutic massage, frequency medicine, sound journeys, or one-on-one integration coaching.

Midday offers siesta and integration time, allowing rest, journaling, dry brushing for lymphatic support, or quiet personal reflection. A healing lunch is shared, often followed by conscious group sharing or a Food as Medicine cooking lesson.

In the afternoon, activities may include group work, such as reflective discussions, partner exercises, art therapy, or a mindful walk to the nearby waterfalls.

As the sun begins to set, the group gathers for evening rituals, which may include kirtan, sound journeys, poetry readings, coherence healing, stargazing, or letter writing.

The day gently closes with reflection, journaling, and rest, creating space for insights to settle and dreams to become part of the integration process.

Each day is intentionally designed to balance activity and rest, inner work and connection, allowing transformation to unfold naturally and sustainably.

Ascension Retreat is held at Sunshine Sanctuary, located in Montezuma, Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica, a peaceful coastal area surrounded by nature on the Nicoya Peninsula.

The nearest international airport is Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José. From SJO, participants can reach Montezuma using several convenient options.

One option is a domestic flight from San José to Cobano Airport, the closest local airport to Montezuma (approximately 15 minutes by car from the sanctuary). Flights are short (about 40 minutes) and offer beautiful aerial views of the peninsula.

Alternatively, travelers may choose ground and ferry transportation, which includes a drive from San José to Puntarenas, a ferry crossing to Paquera, and a scenic drive to Montezuma. Private shuttles and rental cars are also available from San José and provide a comfortable way to reach the area.

Detailed arrival instructions, recommended transport providers, and support with coordination are provided to participants prior to the retreat to ensure a smooth and stress-free journey. Participants arriving on the 1:00 pm Sunday flight (day of retreat start) will be picked up by a private shuttle.

Our retreat center is nestled in the heart of the Costa Rican jungle, offering a serene and immersive natural environment designed to support rest, reflection, and inner transformation.

The yoga and meditation space is open, airy, and surrounded by lush greenery, allowing participants to practice while feeling deeply connected to nature. Soft natural light, jungle sounds, and a peaceful atmosphere create an ideal setting for mindful movement, breathwork, and meditation.

All meals are thoughtfully prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to support nourishment, balance, and vitality throughout the retreat. Special dietary needs can be accommodated.
