4 Day Redwoods National Park Retreat
Guests will stay in cozy, rustic cabins tucked beneath the ancient redwoods at Howland Hill Outdoor School. This is a truly off-grid experience designed for rest, reconnection and deep immersion in nature. Each cabin is simple, warm and shared among 2-4 retreat participants. There are platforms with sleeping pads provided. Guests bring their own sleeping bag or bedding. Cabins do not have electricity or running water inside. The facility is powered by propane, with shared sinks and toilets nearby. There are no showers on site. This is intentional - to embrace simplicity, minimize environmental impact, and fully honor the sacred rhythms of the land. A private 1 mile forest trail begins just steps from your cabin, and common spaces offer firelight, ceremony, and community gathering. This is camping with a roof and a heart - a chance to fully unplug and return to what matters most. Without electricity on site, don’t forget to pack a flashlight or headlamp for those nighttime trips to the nearby restroom, just a short, level walk away. We recommend bringing: Warm sleeping bag or bedding Flashlight or headlamp Layers for cool evenings Comfortable walking shoes Personal water bottle
