Participants will stay within the territory of the Ai’Cofan community, in a natural environment surrounded by the rainforest of Putumayo. The accommodation is simple and traditional, in open and rustic spaces that reflect the community’s way of life and allow for a direct connection with nature. Resting arrangements are in hammocks, a common and comfortable way of sleeping in the Amazon region, well suited to the warm and humid jungle climate. The hammocks are set up in protected shared areas that provide a peaceful space for rest and integration between ceremonies. The Yagé ceremonies take place in traditional malocas, sacred structures built with wood and palm that are used by Amazonian communities for spiritual and ceremonial gatherings. These spaces offer a protected, spacious environment deeply connected with the surrounding natural world.
