About this Retreat
Margarita is the founder and editor-in-chief of Naked Food Magazine and the visionary behind WFPB.ORG, the Whole Food, Plant-Based Initiative. A certified naturopath, plant-based chef, and author of five cookbooks, Margarita has dedicated her life to advancing the understanding of food as medicine and to guiding people toward true and sovereign health. Her pioneering work in Culinary Medicine blends scientific knowledge with wholistic wisdom, demonstrating how food can heal, regenerate, and transform our lives. She has also developed the Universal Guideline for Human Health, a framework that integrates nutrition, movement, rest, emotional balance, and connection into a cohesive path to well-being.
With certifications in cellular biology, microbiology, virology, and cognitive health, Margarita bridges the gap between science and lifestyle, offering a perspective that is both deeply grounded and empowering. At the heart of her mission is a passion for helping others reconnect with nature, their own biology, and the miracle of food. Margarita’s teachings invite us to thrive—body, mind, and spirit—through the simplicity of whole, plant-based living.
Michele (Mik) is the co-director of WFPB.ORG and a professional Fitness Coach, bringing years of experience in training, performance, and human movement to the heart of the WFPB mission.
Born and raised in Italy, Michele offers guests a unique perspective into the traditions of his homeland—sharing insights, stories, and local knowledge that bring depth and authenticity to every experience. From cultural nuances to the history of Italian cuisine, he enriches the journey with context that connects food, place, and people.
With a background as a competitive swimmer and a graduate of Setanta College, Michele combines athletic discipline with a deep commitment to wholistic health, offering a complete pathway to vitality and resilience.
Beyond physical training, Michele’s passion extends into the study of esoterism, symbolism, and human biology, which he weaves into his teachings to explore the deeper connections between body, mind, and spirit.

WFPB & Vegan Italian Wholiday
Tuscany & Umbria, Italy
September 20–28, 2026
9 Days / 8 Nights
––––––––––––––––––
The Dolce Vita — reimagined through whole food plant-based living.
This Wholiday is the first experience of its kind: an immersive Italian journey centered on exceptional whole food plant-based cuisine, cultural depth, and the restorative rhythm of Tuscany and Umbria.
This is not a sightseeing tour.
It is not a rushed itinerary.
It is not a checklist.
It is Italy as it is meant to be lived — slowly, intentionally, and with presence.

What Makes This Experience Different
––––––––––––––––––
Most tours move quickly, prioritizing monuments and photos. This immersion is built around nourishment, culture, and lived experience.
We move at the rhythm of the land.
Mornings begin gently — lake air, quiet light, seasonal breakfast.
Days unfold through curated excursions to medieval villages, artisan workshops, panoramic hilltop towns, and natural hot springs.
Afternoons allow space to swim, rest, journal, or simply sit in stillness.
Evenings gather around long, nourishing meals crafted in our signature whole food style.
Each day follows a natural rhythm:
Enjoy → Explore → Rest → Repeat.
No rush.
No pressure.
Only the quiet unfolding of a beautiful day in a beautiful place.

The Setting: Lake Trasimeno
––––––––––––––––––
Our home for the week is a restored 17th-century villa on the tranquil shores of Lake Trasimeno, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and rolling countryside.
Stone walls, vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and lakefront gardens reflect the authenticity of the region. Modern comforts ensure ease, while the property’s natural stillness invites deep rest.
Guests enjoy:
• Chlorine-free saltwater pool
• Private spa with sauna
• Expansive gardens and lake views
• Outdoor dining under the Italian sky
• Spacious common areas for gathering and reflection
The villa was chosen not only for its beauty, but for its atmosphere of calm and coherence.

The Food

• Oil-free
• Sugar-free
