Details of this retreat

This retreat is a structured immersion into Pneuma Trance®, a method of trance induced and sustained through introspective breathing and guided attention, framed within the symbolic context of Día de los Muertos and its representation through Catrinas as expressions of memory and continuity.

The program integrates somatic practices, introspective breathing, meditation and symbolic observation within a controlled and non-clinical framework. The core of the work is the cultivation of pause, silence and symbolic presence, aligned with the cultural atmosphere of remembrance and ancestral reference.

The experience combines structured sessions with guided visits to Teotihuacan, including silent walks through the pyramidal complex, observation of spatial geometry and integration within a monumental environment. Additional elements include forest settings, natural formations such as basaltic prisms, traditional temazcal and live sound sessions, maintaining a balance between practice, environment and cultural context.

Catrinas are approached as a symbolic representation, not as spectacle, integrated into the retreat as a visual and cultural layer connected to perception, identity and memory.

Participants are invited to take part in a symbolic preparation inspired by Catrinas, within the context of Día de los Muertos. This includes optional face painting or subtle adornment, approached as a process of symbolic identity, memory and presence, not as costume or performance. This preparation functions as a transition into a dedicated ceremonial space, where the participant engages from a different perceptual and symbolic position, aligned with the themes of continuity, remembrance and internal observation. The process is guided, respectful of cultural context and integrated within the structure of the retreat.

The program includes optional traditional plant-based practices offered within an indigenous-informed and guided setting, with full orientation provided prior to participation.

Participants engage in daily sessions, group integration and individual observation within a contained setting, allowing direct experiential access to Estados No Ordinarios de Conciencia through disciplined and repeatable methods. Assistance with flight booking and travel coordination is available upon request.
“Plant medicine is not included in the listed price and is handled separately outside the platform.”
