About this Retreat
Jess Wszolek joined the Cranaleith staff in April, managing our vegetable garden, helping with land care and overseeing our elderly hens. In the off season she creates art programing, works as an assistant to the director and plans out our garden spaces. Her favorite part of the job is the time spent in our grounds seeing wildlife and helping with the bees. She is also a practicing artist who received a BFA from Tyler School of Art with a major in Printmaking. She continues her practice at a nonprofit print shop in northern liberties. Her art medium of choice is Stone Lithography, but enjoys crafts of all sorts.
Details of this retreat
This holiday season, go beyond “just wrapping” and be intentional about how you wrap your gifts and add a handmade card straight from the heart. In this hands-on workshop, facilitator Jess will guide you in the art of thoughtful presentation—showing how simple paper, paste, and a few creative touches can transform your package into a expression of love.
Bring along a small or medium-sized gift, and we’ll provide brown paper, paste, and festive decorations. To make it uniquely yours, we invite you to bring photos, trinkets, or extra embellishments to make your gifts special.
If you need a gift - we're hosting a very special Holiday Pop-Up in our giftshop from 10am to 3pm. You'll gift will 'give' twice - first to a meaningful non-profit; then to the person intended.
As an added delight, you’ll also have the chance to design a one-of-a-kind holiday card, using our materials to craft a message that pairs perfectly with your gift.
Join us for a time of creativity, community, and celebration. Come wrap with intention—and leave with a gift as meaningful on the outside as it is within.
