A Yogic Way of Creating & Leading Successful Teams
“The people in an organization should count more with you than the work they are doing. People are more important than things. If you make your co-workers your priority, you will inspire them to do far better in their work.” - Swami Kriyananda ‘The Art of Supportive Leadership, p. 113
Are you a Business Leader seeking an uplifted and spiritual way to work in today's world?
Spiritual Team-Leadership is a divine service focusing on working with and for God while collaborating with the Divine inside each of your team members. This approach focuses on creating & leading teams from a Divine Consciousness which allows you as the team leader to develop and live your highest soul potential while nurturing the same in your team members.
In a traditional business setting, team leadership is about working together to set priorities, carry out activities to accomplish a project or goal, ensure productivity, build know-how/skills, and managing performance - all aspects important on the material plane. By contrast, team leadership on the spiritual plane is far more powerful and effective than working solely on the material plane. Spiritual leadership goes beyond moral leadership, benevolent leadership or ethical leadership in working with energy, intention, intuition, attitudes, belief system and ultimately with divine consciousness.
Let's consider an example; creating & building teams on the spiritual plane brings much more harmony & success than if we would follow the traditional approach on the material plane by just focusing on the technical and social skills & know-how. In this context your spiritual magnetism as a leader highly influences what team members you attract, how your relationships evolves and how easy or difficult your collaboration might be. This course will discuss in detail and in practical ways how to create and lead teams on the spiritual plane which has immediate positive effects on your team member’s performance, knowledge sharing and innovation behavior.
We will explore how to accomplish the following:
Gain clarity of the divine purpose of your team
Create the team you need to realize your Dharma
Increase you magnetism as a Team-Leader
Communicate from the Highest Possible Consciousness
Co-create successful projects with your team
Increase the Energy & Performance of Your Team
The spiritual principles, philosophies and techniques we discuss during the course are based on the Yoga philosophies & wisdom as conveyed by Paramhansa Yogananda and presented by Swami Kriyananda in his books on ‘Leadership’ and ‘Material Success’.
During this course we will:
Raise your awareness of your spiritual energy and how this can influence your magnetism in creating and leading successful teams. With this understanding we will discuss how to change your consciousness for a more spiritual oriented team leadership
Discuss the principles of magnetism and how this can help in creating the team you need
Highlight spiritual routines & habits of successful team leaders
Discuss the spiritual role of visions, strategies and plans
Explore the essence of spiritual mentoring in helping your team members to expand their awareness, energy and thus consciousness
Provide spiritual principles for harmonious co-creation
Highlight principles of communication from a higher / spiritual consciousness
This intensive weekend course will be taught by Nayaswami Atmajyoti Mirela Schwarz (PhD), who has substantial experience in Spiritual Team-Leadership in different organizational, social and international context and settings. Based on her practical experience how to use the yoga principles and philosophies in Team leadership, we will focus primarily on the practicality of the yoga teachings by discussing extensive examples in many different settings.
