Amaru Sol
Amaru Sol is the founder of Finca de la Sol and co-founder of The Now Is You, a sanctuary devoted to healing, remembrance, and living in harmony with Mother Earth. For more than eighteen years, he has dedicated his life to walking a path of personal transformation while compassionately supporting others on their own journeys of healing, self-discovery, and awakening.
His path began in 2008 after a profound inner awakening that inspired him to leave behind a life that no longer reflected his true purpose. Since then, he has devoted himself to deep personal healing and the lifelong study of ancestral wisdom, emotional healing, meditation, mindfulness, breathwork, nutrition, and Earth-based spiritual traditions. His journey has never been about seeking titles or recognition, but about embodying the teachings through lived experience and becoming a humble student of life.
Over the years, Amaru has had the honor of learning directly from Indigenous elders and wisdom keepers, spending years in relationship with ancestral traditions through service, ceremony, and continued learning. He has been entrusted by an elder of the Cofán people of Putumayo, Colombia, with the sacred responsibility of preparing and serving ancestral plant medicines according to their traditional lineage. This trust was earned through years of dedication, humility, integrity, and reverence for the teachings. He continues to deepen this relationship by returning to learn from his teachers and support the preservation of their ancestral traditions.
At Finca de la Sol, Amaru facilitates intimate gatherings where every guest is welcomed as family and supported with genuine presence, compassion, and care. His approach is rooted in the understanding that healing is not something given by another person—it is something awakened from within. His role is to create a safe, loving, and grounded environment where each individual can reconnect with their own inner wisdom and remember the wholeness that has always been present.
Each gathering is thoughtfully guided through ancestral plant ceremonies, one-on-one healing sessions, integration practices, sacred music, prayer, teachings, nature immersion, and community. Nayara Sol
Nayara Sol is the co-founder of Finca de la Sol and The Now Is You, where she lovingly serves as a facilitator, guide, and space holder for those walking a path of healing, remembrance, and personal transformation. For more than eighteen years, she has devoted her life to supporting others in reconnecting with their authentic selves through compassion, presence, and the wisdom of ancestral traditions.
Her journey began in 2008 alongside her husband, Amaru Sol, after experiencing a profound inner awakening that inspired a complete transformation of her life. Since then, she has immersed herself in years of personal healing and the study of emotional wellness, specialized kinesiology, emotional block release, mindfulness, meditation, ancestral teachings, and holistic approaches to healing. Through her own experiences, she discovered that lasting transformation begins by gently returning to the wisdom already present within each person.
Over the years, Nayara has had the privilege of learning alongside Indigenous elders and wisdom keepers while deepening her understanding of ancestral plant traditions through ceremony, service, and continued study. Together with Amaru, she helps facilitate ancestral plant ceremonies in a way that honors the teachings, the traditions, and the sacred relationship with Mother Earth.
Her work is rooted in creating a nurturing environment where people feel safe to open their hearts, release emotional burdens, and rediscover the beauty of who they truly are. With deep intuition and genuine compassion, she supports participants before, during, and after each gathering, helping them integrate their experiences with practical tools they can carry into everyday life.
Nayara has a special passion for supporting women in remembering the wisdom of the sacred feminine. She offers guidance that encourages women to reconnect with their intuition, honor the natural rhythms of life, embrace their authentic voice, and cultivate a deeper relationship with themselves. She also enjoys sharing teachings that celebrate important rites of passage, helping young women and women of all ages honor these sacred transitions with awareness, love, and reverence.
As co-author of The Now Is You, Nayara believes that healing is not about becoming someone new, but about remembering the truth of who we have always been. Every gathering she helps create is designed to nurture that remembrance through love, presence, community, and a deep connection with nature.

The Courage to Let Go is an intimate 3-day gathering held in the mountains of Costa Rica at Finca de la Sol. Surrounded by jungle, earth, and the rhythms of nature, we step away from the noise of everyday life and enter a sacred space devoted to healing, surrender, remembrance, and renewal.
Over these three days, we will move through two ancestral plant ceremonies, supported by intentional practices that may include meditation, sound healing, music, conscious movement, sacred fire, reflection, and integration.

THE JOURNEY
Day One — Arrive & Surrender
We arrive on the land, disconnect from the outside world, settle into the rhythm of Finca de la Sol, and begin opening the space for what we are ready to release.
As evening comes, we enter our first ancestral plant ceremony.
Day Two — Release & Remember
The day is intentionally spacious, allowing time for rest, nourishment, reflection, and integration.
As we move toward our second ceremony, we go deeper—not forcing release, but allowing ourselves to see what we have been holding and whether we are ready to set it down.
Day Three — Renew & Walk Forward
Our final morning is dedicated to integration, grounding, and bringing meaning to what has been experienced.
Because letting go is only part of the journey.

• Private Transportation – A private driver will meet you at the airport and bring you directly to our meeting location at Rancho del Presente in Tinamastes.
• Shared Shuttle – A comfortable shared shuttle service from San José to Tinamastes, where we will meet you at Rancho del Presente.
• Domestic Shuttle Flight – A short flight from San José (SJO) to Quepos, followed by transportation to Rancho del Presente.
All guests meet us first at Rancho del Presente in Tinamastes, where we welcome you before continuing together to Finca de la Sol in the mountains.

Accommodations Our standard accommodation is the Ancestral Hammock Experience inside our open-air ceremonial maloca, where guests sleep in comfortable hammocks, honoring a tradition that has been practiced by Indigenous communities of the Amazon for generations. It is a beautiful opportunity to reconnect with simplicity, nature, and the sacred rhythm of the land. For guests who prefer additional privacy and comfort, we also offer a limited number of private casitas with twin beds for an additional fee. Our casitas provide a peaceful and cozy space while allowing you to remain fully immersed in the experience and close to the ceremonial grounds. Our meals are thoughtfully prepared using fresh, nourishing ingredients that support the body’s natural healing process and honor the traditional dietary guidelines followed during our gatherings. We serve wholesome, home-cooked meals inspired by local flavors, with an emphasis on simplicity, balance, and easy digestion.
On ceremony days, we provide two meals—a nourishing breakfast and lunch—allowing your body to enter the evening ceremony feeling light and prepared. Following the ceremony, guests rest and continue fasting until breakfast the next morning.
On non-ceremony days, guests enjoy three meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, providing the nourishment needed for integration, reflection, and time spent in nature.
We are happy to accommodate most dietary needs and food allergies with advance notice whenever possible.
