Maintenance and security issues meant my stay was difficult
On the first day I arrived I notified reception that the lock on my cabin door was broken and was extremely difficult to lock from the outside and it took them five days to fix this I had to ask them again. finally on the sixth of my stay a new lock mechanism was put in while I was not in my cabin. However the key was left in the lock in my cabin was left unlocked. I had many thousands of dollars worth of personal possessions with with me in there. I was shocked to find that they had left it unlocked with the actual key in the lock from the outside on my return.
On the sixth day of my stay I was verbally attacked and seriously abused by another guest at the breakfast table, this was an appalling incident, and illegal. I have a witness and am considering police action. Office reception were extremely reluctant to take any meaningful action and just wanted me to fill in a form. I had to insist that the site manager be brought in which eventually happened.
One night the smoke alarm went off repeatedly even though there was no smoke late at night It was very hard to find an after hours support number when the guy finally did arrive he was ill equipped and it did not have a battery to replace it I had to supply it.
The Wi-Fi advertised simply didn’t work at my cabin
More seriously I learned there is absolutely no on-site security at Krishna Village despite large numbers of guests and volunteers being present and some very unfortunate incidents having taken place during my 7 day stay - not involving me. If you’re a single woman you might consider whether you will be safe here.

5 day stay at Krishna
I had the best 5 days at the Village - learnt more about yoga and met some wonderful human beings. It was a privilege to be able to stay there and engage with some of the many things on offer including meditation and Kirtan. And be in the most beautiful setting. Great re-set.

A Beautiful Escape with Two Little Boys
We recently stayed at Krishna Village with my two little boys (ages 4 and 2), and it was such a beautiful experience for all of us.

We didn’t attend any of the yoga classes or workshops this trip, but even without them, there was so much to enjoy. The peaceful atmosphere, stunning surroundings, and welcoming community made it a place where we could truly slow down and reconnect.

My boys absolutely loved exploring the property, seeing the animals, and having so much open space to roam. It felt like such a wholesome environment for young children.

The food was a real highlight. Having three delicious vegetarian meals provided each day made everything so easy, and every meal was fresh, nourishing, and full of flavour. You can really feel the care that goes into preparing the food.
