Fourteen years ago, Brian, a wandering monk, renounced his former life and set out on the road to share the mystical path to Self-Realization. He has held hundreds of Satsang gatherings at spiritual centers, churches, and yoga studios all over the United States and Canada. Satsang, meaning “association with higher Truth”. He is an inspirational speaker and a meditation teacher.
In these sacred gatherings, Brian speaks about the nature of Truth and Love, and he recounts his amazing adventures as a monk and renunciant. He tells ancient tales about the mystical lives of saints. He holds a transformative space to bring the mind into deeper states of meditation. He plays harmonium and leads kirtan.
His mission, Stir the Heart, is a clarion call for inner transformation, spiritual healing, and self-realization. By invoking the vibration of Christ's love in our community, people change deep within. When the heart softens, actions stem from kindness and care, and minds open to the flow of intuition and sacred wisdom.
Details of this retreat
Imagine sitting down in a room filled with the Presence of Love, listening to music that touches the very core of the Heart. Feeling barriers fall away, the Heart glows warmly in the Energy. The whole world falls away as we enter transcendental realms of our being.
Float in a blissful sound bath of musical chanting. Learn different practices for clearing the heart chakra, activating Life Force, and entering a meditation of spiritual joy and sweetness. Bask in the holy vibrations of mantra music and the reverential sound of the harmonium, calling forth the awakening of the soul. Chant Aramaic mantras from the time of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, and the Blessed Mother. Listen as Brian speaks in a dynamic way about the nature of Truth and Christ Consciousness.
Betty didn’t disappoint. She was witty, full of energy, her words were inspirational and the exercises were transformative.
The food was wonderful. Thank you for providing gluten and dairy free meals.

6 day directed retreat
I have been going to Genesis since 1980. As usual, my experience was wonderful. Sr. Nancy is extremely wise and caring. I love being with her. It's also great to have liturgy twice during the week. The house is very comfortable, warm when it needs to be and very cool when necessary. The schedule and the food is great. I have no complaints. Please God I will return next summer.
