Mario

Mario, "Inunkea" his name in Shipibo has 15 years of experience in healing practices with plants. His transformative journey with sacred shamanic practices started in 2008 in Mexico, where he spent 6 months with the Mayas, taking plants and learning more about health and the inner cosmos. He continued his journey in Peru, Brasil and Ecuador, where he became facilitator of Temascal, helped at ceremonies of San Pedro/ Wachuma and Ayahuasca, and worked as a massage therapist. Surfing led him to Indonesia in 2014, where the balinese island's priests and community shared their local traditions with Mario and practical tools for his massage therapies. He also learnt to sing and chant in Sanskrit, and practice exorcism. His next destination Costa Rica turned into his home until today. Mario lived 2 years completely immersed in the jungle and helped at ayahuasca and other plant ceremonies for retreat centers. Today, after taking part at hundreds of ceremonies, he also serves plant medicine, including Ayahuasca and other plant medicines. His latest maestros Elisa Vargas, Enrique Lopez and Wilma Mahua from the Shipibo lineage in the Amazon of Peru, have approved Mario to also offer master plant dietas.

YOGA INSTRUCTOR & ANGEL IN CEREMONIES Carolina is a certified Yoga Teacher and leads courses, workshops and retreats of Yoga, Meditation & Breathing. In 2021, she moved to Costa Rica and quickly started helping Mario at plant medicine ceremonies. She has tried different medicines and spent months in Peru with the Shipibo lineage, learning from the maestros, including Elisa Vargas Fernandez, Enrique Lopez and Wilma Mahua. The master plant dietas and healing rituals she has been part of, have thought her much about the power of plants to heal. Currently, besides of teaching yoga and meditation, she is working as an angel in ceremonies and helps every participant during their journey.

Sowa Nete offers a 10-night private ayahuasca retreat with 5 ceremonies and a master plant dieta. This is a very profound experience that requires true will and trust in our work. A dieta involves intense detoxification, purification and reprograming of your mind.
In order to ensure great results, you will be isolated/ secluded from the outer world, so the plants can do its work at its best. We guarantee you will be coming out as newborn, but want to clarify how important it is that you put your 100 percent in this work.

Schedule

First day in the morning: purgative for cleansing
Evening: first ceremony

Following days: Morning tea with master plant
Meditation and breathing to connect with master plant
Yoga to get the body moving
Light brunch/ lunch

Preparation for ceremony
Ceremony at night (the ceremony will start approx. at 7pm and will last until midnight)*
*You have the option to sleep at the maloca

Days after ceremony are spent to integrate the messages and experiences with the medicine. You can count on our support plus ask any questions you might have.

Enjoy hapé and other medicines for further purification.

Mario and his team is truly amazing!

This was my first time out of country and doing ayahuasca was something completely new to me. Mario and his team however did an amazing job at making sure I felt safe, welcome, and they would answer any questions I had regarding truly anything. During the ceremony. They would play lovely music and his team did an amazing job at helping people when ever needed and making sure everyone’s needs are meet. Love love love everything they have done for me <3
