Different traditions describe seven, nine, or even eleven chakras within the human body. In the Kum Nye tradition of Tibetan Yoga, however, we work with four primary centers of energy: the head, throat, heart, and belly.

In this series of classes, we will explore these four centers in depth. The first class will offer an overview of each center, examining its qualities when balanced, as well as the challenges that arise when it is out of balance.

In the remaining classes, we will focus on each center individually, engaging in practices designed to help align and harmonize them. As our energy centers come into balance, we naturally experience greater clarity, vitality, and fulfillment in our lives.

Amazing paradise of a retreat center
When I drove up to the center I felt as though I had dropped into a little paradise. Surrounded by prayer flags and Stupas I felt a wave of calm come over me. And that only intensified over the 3 days. Everything about it was perfection. The rooms were spacious and airy and beautifully designed. The food was so healthy and delicious. The staff was exceptional. Constantly checking to make sure we were OK. And the best part was the yoga with Nikki Estrada. I wish I could go back every weekend.

wonderful space to relax
I went to Ratna Ling Retreat Center for a yoga and sound retreat. I've never been here and didn't know anyone who had been here, so I was taking a leap of faith, and it paid off. I had a great time.

Ratna Ling provided clean, modern space yoga studio with heated floors. The food was fresh (vegetarian) and the guest cabins were nested in the forest. Half the cabins were 5 min walk to the lodge, and the other cabins #14-17 were 10 min walk or 3 min drive. Because of the rain and evening yoga classes ending around 8-9pm, I drove.

I guess the only complaint i might have is that the bedrooms and bathroom doors didn't have locks. I was assigned a roommate, a lovely woman and we had no problems, but no locks on bathroom doors, weird.

Meditation retreat - grounding community
Im so thankful I made the time for a weekend long meditation retreat at Ratna Ling. George was the lead facilitator and I was grateful for his ability to create a safe, open, and accessible space for all. He gently guided us to longer meditation sits, with an array of different approaches. I left the weekend feeling grounded, with a stronger commitment to meditation and a wonderful community. Hope to be back soon!
