Ready to leave the hamster wheel? Aspiring to live in nature with a self-sufficient lifestyle? A life that is rich in meaning and spiritual balance? Growing your own food, experiencing traditional outdoor living in an affordable dwelling with modern technology—a place to nourish your soul, all independent of what the future holds.
Let us be your guide on this during this retreat, whether you're here to simply soak it all up or take diligent notes. With five years of experience, we have a lot to share. It turns out we've been going deep! Let me show you how radical our rethinking was to appreciate the value we bring to the table. Okay, so you step out of the hamster wheel. The first thing you notice is: gravity—it pulls you to the ground. Okay, so on what ground do you want to stand? We decided to buy a good chunk of land with lots of nature all around it. Nice! Really nice! Bare feet! Even nicer! Shedding some fashion-shaped clothing. 'Oh, I feel my self coming back!' On the land, you need a shelter, but what does it need to bring? Next: food. Healthy food tastes different but great. How do we ensure this food? 'After all this work, is there time for pleasure?' Yes! In fact, it's easy to get swept up by all the pleasures in your own retreat. Check for yourself and see if we're on a path worth following.
Our Sanctuary is shaped by these core questions: 'How do I step into a truly meaningful life? Does this action/decision allow me to grow (faster) to the point of enlightenment?'
Other goal-oriented questions we have include: 'What does it entail to live self-sufficiently? Do I have the mental strength and stamina to be self-reliant? To what extent can we shield ourselves from the dictates of society?
To reach the blueprint of your own sanctuary, the following questions and discussion points are helpful. We work through them during the retreat, providing you with answers and insights that we know to be effective. Drawing from our experiences and from our work as spiritual teachers and coaches, we aim to help you navigate the obstacles between now and your goal.
