Details of this retreat

This is the Camino Exit Retreat designed to help you find closure and prepare for reintegration into society. We also offer an entry retreat to prepare you for walking the Camino.

After completing the Camino de Santiago, people often experience a wide range of thoughts and emotions. Many times, the experiences have been overwhelming, and pilgrims are still in a vulnerable state, not yet ready for the demanding rhythms of everyday life. Right then and there is the moment to align all your experiences, insights, and unresolved issues with your higher purpose. In this retreat, personal coaches will work one-on-one with you in a safe setting to ensure you can transition back to normal life successfully and make the most of your personal investment in walking the Camino.

Walking the Camino is a significant achievement that brings a sense of accomplishment! Embrace this feeling as you walk the streets of Santiago with your fellow pilgrims. Bask in the joy and happiness upon reaching your destination. You have successfully completed a personal and spiritual quest, bringing immense happiness. You also experience the relief from the physical strain on your body and the satisfaction of overcoming challenges. Give your body the rest it needs.

Next, you will find that thoughts of reflection and contemplation arise. The moment the mind realizes that you have arrived, it can let go of the daily drive that made it possible for you to walk the Camino. The daily march of self-reflection and introspection is now definitively over, and you become warped in contemplating your experiences, reflecting on your personal growth, and attaining new perspectives on life. Create the time and find a safe space for this process to unfold.

A deep sense of gratitude and appreciation deserves all the time it needs. Offer thanks in prayer to all those who have provided you support along the way—the kindness of strangers, the beauty of the surroundings, and the opportunity the Universe has given you to undertake such a transformative journey.

With all this inner work, mixed emotions will surface. While there is a sense of accomplishment and joy, a bittersweet sensation takes hold as the journey comes to an end, leaving behind the Camino community and the familiar routine of walking.

In this retreat, we help you clear any emotional debris to ensure that you can be fully open to bringing a renewed sense of purpose and clarity into your life. We assist you in securing the new insights gained and guide you in setting new goals. Our teachers are here to support and empower you, facilitating self-exploration to help you make the best possible decisions aligned with your authentic self regarding your future direction in life.

The Camino experience is incredibly inspiring and empowering. Many pilgrims feel inspired to continue their personal growth, embrace new challenges, and live with a greater sense of purpose and authenticity. We know that this will also be true for you!

To ensure a fully immersive experience in our program, we offer individual teachings in multiple languages, including English, Dutch (Nederlands), Spanish (Español), and Frisian (Frysk). This diverse language support allows us to cater to a wider range of participants, promoting inclusivity and enabling effective communication and understanding. Our dedicated team of teachers is fluent in these languages and capable of delivering the teachings with clarity and precision.
