Amanda Gerace

Amanda’s personal experience with psilocybin has been life changing. It has helped her to process debilitating grief, trauma and depression from the loss of her daughter and a near death experience and eventually come back to herself with renewed vibrancy and extreme gratitude for the mystery and magic of the mushrooms. After experiencing the healing potential, Amanda was inspired to work more closely with psilocybin, and she graduated from InnerTrek with the inaugural cohort of the first legal psilocybin facilitators. Amanda began work as a massage therapist in 2003 after graduating from the Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College in Flagstaff, AZ. In the years since, she has extensively studied many additional modalities, always striving to deepen her understanding of the body, heart and mind. In 2020, Amanda became a certified end of life doula, and she holds a deep reverence for the ways in which grief and death shape us, teach us, and connect us to the cycles of life. Amanda’s private practice, established in 2008, continues to evolve, incorporating bodywork, nature-based practices, sauna, somatic grief support, end of life doula services and psilocybin facilitation. Her healing arts practice has been influenced by decades of working closely with people in vulnerable, transformative states- some of the lessons she received from this include the importance of listening, being focused and present in the moment, creating a deeply nurturing space- both physically and emotionally, establishing client's trust, and utilizing intuition to guide the process. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys gardening, paddle-boarding, snuggling cats, travel, and the adventures of mothering a teenage son. I’m Caroline Holm, a state-licensed psilocybin facilitator, artist, author, poet, and mother. My practice with clients is centered on creating a compassionate space where you feel safe to explore new perspectives, process difficult emotions, and awaken to your own capacity for transformation. Psilocybin has been a profound tool in my own life, helping me navigate grief, anxiety, and deepen my sense of creativity and awe. My passion for this work is born of deep gratitude for what it has catalyzed in my life, and it’s my joy to support this journey for others.‍ In my work with clients, I bring reverence and empathy, trusting in psilocybin’s potential to help you connect with your innate ability to shift perspectives, release unwanted patterns, and deepen connections. I embrace the interconnectedness of all things and have witnessed psilocybin work as a powerful tool to remind us of our belonging and purpose in a larger web of life. Through attuned listening and unwavering presence, I support clients navigating a wide range of challenges including grief, anxiety, depression, parental wounds, creative blocks, or those simply seeking inspiration and connection. Details of this retreat

This psilocybin retreat is tailored for individuals navigating prolonged grief from sources such as the loss of a loved one, divorce, or other significant life changes. For individuals who have been stuck suffering from grief for an extended period of time, psilocybin can play an important part in one's journey back to living fully.
This retreat is also intended for individuals who are past the 'acute' phase of grief. Grieving is a normal and healthy response to loss. Undergoing a psilocybin experience during the acute phase of grief is generally not recommended, as it may overly intensify what are already intense and natural emotions, and may not aid in the healing process. A psilocybin experience is most beneficial to individuals who have reached some point of 'stuckness' in their grieving process.

A $500 deposit is required to begin the registration and screening process. If you are not approved for participation, or choose to withdraw prior to acceptance, your deposit will be fully refunded.

Once you have been approved and receive an acceptance notification, your registration is considered confirmed and the standard cancellation policy applies. In the event of cancellation after acceptance, the deposit will be applied toward the applicable cancellation fee.
Location: The retreat will take place at Fernlove.
Group preparation sessions: 1 & 2 weeks before.

Tiny House Private Bedroom

A private bedroom in one of four tiny houses, with use of shared portable bathrooms. Each tiny house has two bedrooms with private entrances. Note #1: Access to the tiny homes requires a short uphill walk and a couple of stairs. Note #2: Each tiny house reservation books one private room, not the entire tiny house.

A Mystical Journey Made Safe Through Exceptional Care and Guidance

The value I received from this experience is extremely high. Very insightful. A profoundly mystical experience presented in a simple format that removed the worry and uncertainty. I was enveloped in extreme care and end-to-end thoughtfulness that unlocked the beauty and mystery of plant-based teachers. Beyond words, but it wouldn’t have happened without the facilitation team there to support and prompt intention and integration. The entire team brought unique talents and styles that, combined, made for an incredibly unique experience. It was both dynamic and ceremonial. Extremely beautiful souls that made all the difference in the journey. I felt like I was guided to a new level of insight into myself, all while being safely cared for at every level. The resort was absolutely beautiful, and the facilitators emerged as new friends through the experience.

The Hardest and Most Meaningful Experience of My Life

I went on a Leaders Retreat, and it was the single most meaningful experience of my life! It was the hardest and most amazing, meaningful, and complex thing I've ever done in my life. I feel at peace. The facilitators were just excellent. They made all the difference in the whole experience. They created the safe environment necessary for the experience to be meaningful, and for the group to be ok with being vulnerable and get the most out of the experience. Odyssey is a company that takes the therapeutic aspect of psilocybin to another level, ensuring set, setting, and integration are applied and explained in a very effective and thoughtful way so people can experience long-lasting results. Challenging but so worth it!

I’m glad I did it even though it was much more difficult than I anticipated. I wouldn’t go back and undo it because I feel like I gained a lot of insight, and it was a good experience overall that exceeded my expectations. The facilitators were all amazing, absolutely incredible, and extremely supportive. Each brought different and valuable perspectives and insights to the experience. I feel extremely blessed to have had them; they made me feel welcome. They were there for us whenever we needed them. I'm so beyond grateful for their time and support. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to help guide and support our group and me through our journeys.

Our accommodations were beautiful. The meals were all delicious. The service center was also beautiful, where we had our experiences. I enjoyed all the activities and integration circles. We also had some time to ourselves throughout the week, which was nice. If you’re thinking about doing a psilocybin experience, Odyssey is the company to do it with!

It was a very high-value experience. It helped me work through really traumatic situations. The facilitators were outstanding. I don't think my experience would have been as meaningful without them. I felt completely supported throughout the process. I also liked being part of group healing. The integration sessions after the retreat were really important, as well.

Unexpected Powerful Human Connection

Indescribable and life-changing! It highly exceeded my expectations. The facilitators were empathetic; the most amazing people. I have spent decades teaching people how to teach, facilitate, and lead, and they are truly masters. Everything Odyssey does aligns with the research I read, so I felt very safe and secure moving through the process. On top of the amazing personal experience I had, the thing I did not expect was how powerful the group experience would be. We were able to connect so deeply.
