Currently serving as the president of the Ascak Association, the social organization of the Kuntanawa people, Haru passionately advocates for the collective rights and interests of his community. In collaboration with his wife and Co-leader, Dr. Hayra Kuntanawa, an expert in both Eastern and Western Medicine, Haru embarked on a noble project centered on preserving Amazonian plants, healing indigenous communities, and providing education. Amidst the looming threats of corporate exploitation in the Amazon, Haru actively engaged in international efforts and conferences, including his participation at the UN, to defend the forest and its inhabitants from the destructive actions of various industries. With unwavering dedication, Haru and Hayra channel their efforts into spreading their transformative message to the world through ceremonies and the use of plant medicines from the Amazon primary forest. Their music, voices, and profound connections during these ceremonies offer healing, guiding individuals to reconnect with their roots and awaken their consciousness to harmoniously coexist with the world. Dr. Hayra Kuntanawa: Co-Leader of the Kuntanawa Nation Hayra Kuntanawa is an internationally recognized medicine woman, Chinese Medicine doctor, teacher in various healing arts,  musical artist and holds the distinguished position of co-leader alongside her husband in the Kuntanawa Nation. The healing path has been a part of Hayra’s life since childhood, leading her to develop a unique field of medical practice. Her studies and work have taken her across Asia, Europe, North, and South,America. Hayra has graduated from and studied under numerous world-renowned schools, institutions, and teachers, including: - Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, the leading school in the United States for Oriental Medicine - ⁠East West Collage of Oriental Medicine - Hypnotherapy Academy of America, the top school globally for Hypnotherapy studies - Mikio Sankey, founder of Esoteric Acupuncture - Lillian Pearl Bridges, a pioneer in Facial Diagnosis Dr. Hayra Kuntanawa holds titles including Co-leader of the Kuntanawa Nation, Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Esoteric Acupuncture Practitioner, Hypnotherapist, Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki Master, Holistic Doula, Face Reader, Akashic Records Reader, Medicine Woman, and Shamanic Soul Retrieval Practitioner. She resides with her husband, Prince Haru Kuntanawa, leader and medicine man of the Kuntanawa tribe, and their children in the sacred lands of the Amazon in Acre, Brazil.
