About this Retreat
Your Guides
Originally hailing from beautiful British Columbia in Canada, Becky brings a unique mix of experience and knowledge to her teaching style.
Having grown up as a national athlete, equestrian and dancer; she understood the body and the importance of the mechanics of movement from an early age. With this background, it was a natural progression into a career in massage therapy in the helicopter skiing industry. Dealing with injuries and deep patterns of tension over her 17 years of practice she began to see the benefits of the breath and relaxation of the nervous system on healing and recovery. This lead to an interest in yoga and its affects on the body and mind.
Becky has traveled extensively around the world connecting with many different people, yoga teachers and cultures. In 2018 she took the leap into teacher training with 200hrs in Hatha Yoga with Deep Kumar in Bali. With Deep, she learned the importance of correct alignment to prevent injury and increase strength and flexibility, as well as the importance of pranayama, and the sutras for mental health. In 2023 she moved to Bali and completed her 300hrs in Ashtanga Yoga with Bali Yoga Ashram. This further deepened her knowledge of philosophy, yogic routine, Ayurvedic Diet, breath work, and creative, effective sequencing to assist her students towards the most balanced and aligned practice for them. She is deeply passionate about anatomy, connection to other humans, as well as the mind/body connection and its effect on mental and physical health. She uses her many years of massage training in harmony with her yogic teachings to take each student you through a full journey of reconnecting mind, body and soul one class at a time.

This is your morning to rest or take a sunrise paddleboard at 6:30am. This can be your Vipassana Day as well if you choose, Vipassana is a day of silence.
