She came into this life with a mission: Femke is her to make the world a better place. It has been a long journey for her to find out that this looks different for everyone. But she loves guiding you into what it looks for you. With a background in therapy and social work, yoga, travel and a natural curiosity for life, it's a perfect fit for your retreat. From the moment she met with the plant master teacher San Pedro, she knew this was something incredible special and powerful and wants to share this with the world. Combining this with yoga, breath work and intentional workshops, she knows these are the ingredients to create a happier world together. Momentarily she is diving deep into Human Design and loves to share her knowledge with you and integrate this in your retreat.

Marijn

A host like no other, Marijn (or Mario in Spanish) will make you feel at home straight away. This gentle giant will guide you throughout the week during the sacred ceremonies, the vinyasa yoga and breath work sessions. He will be your host for the whole week and a friend for life. His natural curiosity has led him to meet the master plant medicine of Huachuma, the cactus of vision, years ago in Ecuador. He has been diving deep on a personal healing journey ever since and continues to evolve as a natural teacher. He loves to guide others in a fun, joyful and playful way, being an exemplary human by showing the world a healthy sacred masculine energy.

San Pedro is a powerful teacher that can show us new perspectives, insights and healing. Our weekend retreats are perfect for people who don't have more time to dive into a full week experience with multiple ceremonies, but are curious to how this plant can work for them.

This weekend retreat is perfect to dip your toes with a single ceremony and would like to know what this powerful plant can do for you!

Schedule

On Friday evening we welcome everyone from 17.00 and we'll have a nice shared homemade meal together, to get to know each other all ready a bit and talk about your intention.

On Saturday morning we start at 9.00 with a gentle yoga and breathing session to calm your nervous system and you get in the best possible state to start the ceremony. We start the ceremony together in a shared prayer, and from there on, everybody finds their spot for the day somewhere on our terrain with many hammocks and terraces or garden. We are here for you to guide you through your journey.

Sunday morning we finish the weekend retreat with a shared breakfast and an integration circle where we share our experiences from the day before.

This all is held in a warm and loving environment, so you get the best out of your experience with the master plant teacher San Pedro.

Directions

Just for orientation: we are about 10 minute drive from the beach, nestled in the mountains of Granada province in Southern Spain. Málaga is the nearest airport and is about an hour and a half drive from us. We recommend renting a car (we like Malagacar) and we can support finding other guests coming in, to possibly share a car. Because we are off grid, you might like a car that like dirt roads (the last 6 km are a dirt road). You can also take the bus to Motril, and we'll pick you up there.

Accommodation

This little resort offers 3 apartments with different options: private room or come as a couple and have your private house. Every house has a living room, fully equipped kitchen (meals will be prepared for you though), neat bathrooms and cute little terraces and chill places everywhere. With our big garden terrain, you can journey connecting with nature or in the comfort of your own space.

The overall experience exceeded my expectations. Femke and Marijn are the most kind and caring hosts, that make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive and throughout your stay. The rooms are clean and top standard. The art and decoration is beautiful and fitting. The meals they prepare are delicious and pure with a south Spain/Moroccan touch. The property and setting is the ideal place for the ceremonies, as well for wellness retreat purpose, to relax, unwind and have self introspection in pure nature. Femke and Marijn provide a professional ceremonial service, with thoughtful personal support, and allow for feelings of safety and relaxation to allow you to experience what is needed on your journey. I would highly recommend doing a retreat with them if San Pedro is calling you.

Amazing experience

Marijn and Femke were amazing and held a very warm and safe space for us to journey. The rooms were lovely, they actually made so many areas for us to venture off to but we were so happy and comfortable in the original spot in their home that we just remained there for most of it.

San Pedro was an amazing teacher, much softer than Aya as a teacher but the journey was so beautiful and full of wisdom that is still coming to me a month later.

i highly recommend a visit.

I will be back soon.
