Details of this retreat

Pachachaka are pleased to offer the unique opportunity to diet with Huachuma, San Pedro, in-person at our beautiful Costa Rican jungle location.

For those wishing to experience a dieta in a lush verdant jungle setting and deeply connecting with nature - whilst having the unique comforts of a private or shared room with en-suite bathroom, comfortable beds and even the option of AC, with a beautiful maloca overlooking the jungle. Take time in isolation to deeply connect with the plant consciousness.

For anyone looking to deepen their connection with Grandfather medicine, there will be 3 Huachuma (San Pedro) ceremonies, and we will also work with traditional Andean medicines including a despacho ceremony, and energy work. There is also the opportunity to diet ‘friends’ of Huachuma this week, including Cacao and Rose.

Huachuma is medicine for the heart, a gentle yet powerful cactus, native to the Andes of South America. Huachuma aids us in connecting deeply to our true essence - beyond the ideas and preconceptions that we have formed about ourselves in our minds. Helping us to connect with the love, joy and fulfilment that is innate, yet can be lost or distorted amidst the madness of modern life. Aiding us in appreciating the beauty of nature, that bears so many gifts and teachings.

Loosely translated from the ancient Quechua language as "without head" in English, this medicine is excellent for calming and soothing busy, restless minds - helping us to find clarity and peace within. Helping us access greater awareness of our purpose, our worth and sense of knowing.

The wise Grandfatherly presence of Huachuma holds us as we move through whatever emotions or trauma stand in the way of us accessing the higher aspects of ourselves. As we integrate what we heal and learn through the diet, we are empowered to step forward with a profound, embodied awareness of exactly who we are.

This is a unique opportunity to immerse in the profound medicine of Huachuma. The breadth of who and how this medicine can help is far reaching:
- Move beyond anxiety and overthinking to inner peace, clarity and focus
- Connect with a deep sense of worth and confidence
- Shift from being mind-led to heart-led in our lives
- Develop meaningful and fulfilling relationships
- Find awareness of greater purpose and meaning
- Re-write ancestral patterns to bring healing and lightness for future generations
