This is not your typical vacation or wellness retreat. Our programs are unique in that our emphasis is on slowing down, finding rest, and engaging in personal reflection, while also encouraging your process of spiritual formation -- the process of growing into Christ-likeness.
Orchid Lodge Samui is a female Christian-owned and operated property, and the Retreats at Orchid Lodge offer a non-denominational Christian-based program open to women at any stage of her spiritual life. You do not need to be a practicing Christian or have any previous Bible knowledge to participate. We welcome women who have a genuine desire to begin or strengthen a relationship with God, and a curiosity to explore the teachings of Jesus and the Bible in a safe, supportive, and judgement-free environment.
Our mission is to build a thriving community of faith-filled women living healthy and vibrant lives of wholeness while pursuing deeper connection with God, people, and purpose.
In addition to dedicated time for the spiritual disciplines of prayer, scripture reading, Bible study discussions, worship, and quiet meditation, we also build in daily cultural, culinary, and sightseeing opportunities to enjoy and explore the hidden gems and highlights of the popular tropical destination of Koh Samui all in the safety, comfort, and company of a small group.

Schedule
Each retreat we host will be tailored to the specific attendees participating on that program, so no two schedules or experiences will ever be the same.
Our schedules are fluid and flexible to allow for adjustments and time changes, based on the flow of the conversations and activities for the day. However, you can expect each day to consist of a combination of quiet time & personal reflection, prayer & worship, movement (walks or stretching), nourishing meals at or outside the lodge, Bible study and guided discussions, and an outing, cultural experience, or island-based activity (night market, elephant sanctuary, sunset dinner, Thai cooking class, fire show, beach time, waterfalls, etc.).
While we highly encourage you to participate in all scheduled activities, you are free to decide how you would like to spend your time so that you can get what you need out of this experience. We will also have plenty of opportunities for rest, relaxation, and massages, so we will keep the schedule at a comfortable and relaxed pace.

Directions
The easiest way to reach the island of Koh Samui is via Samui International Airport (USM).
Some international airlines will allow you to route your ticket all the way to Koh Samui in one booking. Otherwise, you can find the best available flight to Bangkok, Phuket, Singapore, or Hong Kong and then book a separate flight via Bangkok Airways from one of these connecting points to Koh Samui (USM).
It is also possible to arrive to Koh Samui via ferry or speedboat from the Thai mainland (Surat Thani) or from the neighboring islands (Koh Phangan or Koh Tao).
Once you arrive to Koh Samui, our driver will meet you at your point of arrival and transfer you to Orchid Lodge Samui.

Accommodation
The retreats will take place at our freshly renovated property, Orchid Lodge Samui, a charming tropical-inspired boutique accommodation in the peaceful southeastern region of Koh Samui, Thailand. The lodge consists of six individual lodges, a main villa with a pool, and a relaxation room specifically for massages and spa treatments. During our retreat periods, only registered retreat participants will be on the property. The lodge will be closed to all other outside guests, allowing us to maintain a very private and cozy setting for our small group of women. All of our group activities will take place in the communal spaces around the main villa and on the pool patio, where we will share meals, conversations, and quality time together. When we are not gathered as a group, you will have opportunities for quiet time by yourself in your individual lodge and private accommodations. Our lodges are each uniquely customized and thoughtfully designed with special small touches and attention to detail throughout to help you feel comfortable and relaxed. Each lodge has its own tropical inspired design based on the native plants and flora of Thailand. Our one-bedroom lodges (1, 3, 4) are perfect for solo travelers. Our two-bedroom lodges (2, 5, 6) are great for friends traveling together who want to have her own private bedroom within a shared lodge. Sweet Jasmine (One-bedroom, One-bath) - Single Occupancy
Boutique and fresh, the Sweet Jasmine lodge is inspired by the elegant and fragrant white jasmine flower of Thailand. This spacious, private one-bedroom lodge provides a cozy and comfortable home away from home with a modern ensuite bathroom. The covered terrace has outdoor seating a view of the garden. This lodge is located closest to the main villa and the pool patio.

This lodge is located on the farthest corner of the property allowing for added privacy, but is still in close proximity to the main villa. The covered terrace with comfortable outdoor seating is perfect for watching the brilliant colors of the sky at sunset.

Pink Lotus (Two-bedroom, One-bathroom) - Single OR Double occupancy
Stylish and well decorated, the Pink Lotus lodge is perfect for a two people traveling together who want to share a house, or an individual who would like to have a little extra space. Inspired by the elegant and serene lotus flower, this lodge has two air-conditioned bedrooms and one shared bathroom. There is a king bed in the larger main bedroom, and a twin bed in the second smaller bedroom. The bedrooms are separated by a sliding wooden door. When entering the lodge, you must walk through the first bedroom to access the second bedroom, which has a small desk and reading nook. The second bedroom does not have a separate entry. This lodge has a covered terrace with outdoor seating. This lodge is conveniently located next to the Coco Palm lodge.

*Book with a friend!* Vibrant and tropical, the Plumeria Blossom lodge is perfect for two people who wish to share a lodge, but also desire to have their own private space and separate bathroom. Named for the flowering plumeria trees all around the property, this spacious lodge has a sliding wooden door that separates the two rooms. Each guest will have her own bedroom and bathroom; however, when entering the lodge, you must walk through the first bedroom to access the second bedroom. The second bedroom does not have a separate entry. The minibar refrigerator is located in the first bedroom. The lodge has a private covered terrace with outdoor seating and garden views.

Orchid Lodge Samui is a newly-renovated boutique accommodation located in the quiet southeast region of the majestic island of Koh Samui, Thailand. Surrounded by abundant greenery, tropical plants, and vibrant colored flowers, the lodge offers a lush natural environment and soothing atmosphere in a relaxed, cozy, home-like setting. Our small property consists of one main pool villa and 6 stand-alone private lodges (9 bedrooms, 8 baths total). We also have an on-site relaxation room for massages.

All snacks, meals, and beverages will be prepared using fresh local ingredients and we will offer various Thai dishes and delicacies to allow you to experience local cuisines and flavors.
