3 nights ayahuasca retreat with Samith Osorio & MIRA

Well where do I start! I first found Ayahuasca 9 years ago and have had some amazing journeys but I always wanted to experience ceremonies in a more traditional way which the retreats I went on before did not do. After a 5 year break I looked over many months for somewhere to go and as soon as I saw the Mira retreats i knew that this was the one!! And boy o boy was I right.
From the first moment of talking to Paula on the phone who listened to me and showed me such love to theWell where do I start! From the first moment of talking to Paula on the phone who listened to me and showed me such love to the arrival at the beautiful retreat which is magical. All my fears melted away when I met the beautiful team Daniel, Paula Xavi and Dragon and other voyagers. Opening with a lovely opening circle where I felt safe to share my inner most feelings.
The ceremonies were so powerful done with authentic jungle medicine and following the tradional Shamanic indigenous ancestry of the Cofan tradition. Daniel is a healer beyond words and worlds leading the ceremonies playing powerful live icaroes from the jungle. A powerful humble warrior magician who will guide you through to the light. Paula's voice and guitar playing melts the soul and is such a loving spirit of nature. Xavi a protective loving guardian ever present and Dragon a mischievous spirit who will make you smile and laugh out loud in or out of ceremony. Many thanks to Kateryna who’s beautiful voice and guitar brought so much light.

My kambo experience with Paula and Xavi was nothing short of miraculous. As a first time Kambo taker I was apprehensive but I felt so safe every second of it and seeing miraculous results in my body since taking it.

I really can t thanks the MIRA team enough for what they do. Chosen by Ayahuasca to help heal the world with their love and humility.
I will only be going to their retreats now and feel so honoured to be part of this beautiful family.

I had many worries walking into this experience- I am in a peculiar time in my life, a dark time where I inately knew that I would need to be in concious and safe hands. Paula and Javi took all my concerns seriously- the serious ones and the more silly ones. They took time out of their day to give me well-thought out and intricate responses to all of my enquiries. A friend and I had informed them about our situation (a difficult sociopolitical situation) before coming and they held our predicament with high regard, relaying to Tatia Samith our situation and making sure we were cared for before, during and after ceremony. I usually aniticipate people to invalidate my experience or to not give it the weight it deserves- but the MIRA team were tender, wise and balanced in their approach. With them, I could let my guard down and focus solely on my healing without being hyper alert to any external threat.
Every single person on the team was a blessing to have. Paula- a gentle healer with hands and a heart of gold. Javi, a child-like spirit with the wisdom of a protective elder. Danny- a sensitive warrior with a sureness in him that takes any fears away. And finally Taita Samith- God and Aya’s loyal and humble servant, a Jaguar and Parrot spirit with a Love that can feed the entire Earth. After this experience, I will not be joining any other team or retreat. The ceremonies took place in nature and Aya seemed to be familiar with her children (the MIRA team) and could work with us knowing that she was with people of integrity and that she was given the respect and honor she deserves.
Its hard to find a retreat that is authentic, decolonial and not rooted in commercialization of the indeginious cultures. MIRA is just that. They serve the world from the heart and not from the ego or because of any external reward. Their medicine is Truth before anything else.
Forever grateful for this experience and to have been in the presence of such historical indigenious ancestry (the Cofan tradition) that made it safe for my own ancestors to appear and recieve the Love they deserve. I will be coming back again and again and again, knowing that I lay in pure hands.
