About this Retreat
At the heart of our community is Sergio Henao, a man of extraordinary wisdom and deep understanding of the healing powers of nature. As an experienced professor of philosophy, Sergio combines academic knowledge with millennia-old traditions.
For over 15 years, Sergio has dedicated himself to working with ayahuasca, a herbal medicine considered sacred by the indigenous people of South America. His skills and knowledge were personally passed on to him by Mamita Concha, a respected healer from the Kamentsa Biyá tribe.
Sergio is known for his gentle modesty and deep humility, qualities that distinguish him not only as a person but also as a healer. With each ritual, he lovingly guides participants through their personal journey of self-knowledge and transformation.
Jessica is a remarkable individual whose dedication and entrepreneurial spirit have made our ayahuasca retreats a place of transformation and healing. Jessica, a successful entrepreneur from Hamburg, Germany, who combines business know-how with a deep spiritual devotion to create life-changing experiences.
Through her passion and commitment, Jessica has created an environment that is not only safe and welcoming, but also conducive to profound spiritual growth.
In addition to her role as an organizer, Jessica also serves as an assistant to the shamans during the ayahuasca ceremonies. In this essential role, she acts as a link between the shamans and the participants, acting with a mixture of empathy, intuition and practical knowledge. Her ability to respond to the needs of each individual while supporting the flow of the ceremony makes her an invaluable part of the experience.
Vanessa is an extraordinary personality who enriches the lives of many people with her dedication and passion.
As an experienced veterinarian, Vanessa brings a wealth of expertise, compassion and commitment to the well-being of our animal companions. Her deep connection to nature and immense respect for all living beings makes her a trusted guardian of animal health and welfare.
However, Vanessa’s journey has taken her even further, on a path that explores the deep wisdom of traditional healing arts. As a shaman, she leads female-led ayahuasca ceremonies, which for many are a source of transformation and spiritual renewal. Vanessa is a master at creating a safe and supportive environment in which participants can open up and experience the healing powers of this ancient practice. Her ceremonies are known for their beauty and power, filling the room with positivity and hope.
In our ayahuasca ceremonies, Jaime stands as a pillar of strength, wisdom and love. As the father of Vanessa and the oldest participant in our ceremonies.
His presence in the ceremonies is like a lighthouse, shedding light into the darkest corners of our souls and illuminating the path to transformation and enlightenment.
With a natural grace and an open heart, Jaime guides participants through the process, always ready to offer support, comfort and an understanding ear. Join us for a fascinating 7-day journey deep into the untouched expanses of the Colombian jungle, where we get to experience three Ayahuasca ceremonies, as well as the production and cooking process of the most powerful, ancient, shamanic healing plant, Ayahuasca, first-hand.
The trip is not only an opportunity for you to discover the breathtaking nature, but also to develop a deep appreciation for the customs of the Kamentsa-Biya tradition from the high Putumayo, who have been making ayahuasca and performing ceremonies with the sacred medicine for generations.
Our goal is to pass on the authenticity and respect for their Ayahuasca tradition to each of our participants.
We are located in Putumayo (Mocoa) in the direct territory of the Taitas. The nature there has been untouched for centuries and our Taitas live in close connection with it.
On your Ayahuasca journey you will go to the origins of the sacred plant medicine. You will also witness the profound wisdom of a tradition, that has been recognized and used for many generations and is now becoming more and more popular in our western world.
Moreover, the Ayahuasca unfolds particularly energetic in this environment.
Enjoy a uniquely spiritual experience on our jungle trip and learn everything you need to know about the plant medicine.

After the first day of arrival including a ceremony, an example day could look like the following
At 8:30 a.m. we offer Kambo sessions. To participate in this ceremony is totally up to you. After the Kambo session, breakfast will be served. While and after breakfast the participants can exchange thoughts and/or experiences with each other. Until lunchtime the team will be there to support you to understand and integrate the received messages and experiences. Lunch will be served around 2 p.m. and then you will have time for yourself - for example to rest.
In the evening, around 6 p.m., we will be starting with the Cacao or Rapé ceremony. Cocoa and rapé are a wonderful preparation for the Ayahuasca ceremony. It is a way to release pent-up feelings, free yourself and connect with your inner child. We also use this moment to connect with the spirits of the elements and to acknowledge and connect with our ancestors. The Ayahuasca ceremony begins around 9 p.m.

We are in the middle of the Colombian jungle, we sleep in 4-bed rooms and share bathroom and shower. Our Taitas’ house barely got electricity 10 years ago, but so far no internet. If you still wish to be in touch with the outside world, you can reach a cell phone and internet signal within a 15-minute walk. Please also keep in mind, that being disconnected will help the transformation and the journey to yourself.
