About this Retreat
Ixa Txana Huni Kuin, a prominent young leader of the Huni Kuin people, whose work is dedicated to preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of his ancestors. For over six years, Ixa has been an active participant in ceremonies that weave ancestral chants with spiritual practices, traveling across Brazil and the USA to share these rich traditions. His unique musical talents, developed from a young age, add a vibrant layer to his ceremonial work, fostering harmony and joy within the community.
Ixa is also devoted to the development of the Mae Kapa Yuxibu Center, envisioning it as a hub for healing and cultural exchange where people can share experiences and learn collectively. Through his passionate leadership and commitment to cultural preservation, Ixa embodies the spirit of collaboration and shared strength, essential for realizing this vision.

Join us for a weekend of healing with Ixa Txana from the Huni Kuin tribe bringing the force of the florest .
The retreat will be held at Great Spirit Farm in Broosksville
This weekend includes 2 outdoor ceremonies and an optional Saturday daytime ceremony.
We have three cabins available, reserved on a first-come first serve basis. Two cabins feature electricity, AC, and heat, while the A-frame cabin provides a more rustic experience without AC.
Cabin donation: $100/night availability for double occupancy or $75/night for single occupancy. A Frame Cabin $50 a night double or single occupancy.
Tent camping: Free with your own tent
Or $25/ per night to use one of our large tents, which include a twin mattress and linens. Our tents can sleep up to 4 people, but only one set of bedding is provided.
Comfy hammocks are available for free, or bring your own to set up in the barn or woods.
