About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Yantras are an ancient geometrical technology that have existed for thousands of years, dating back to ancient India. They are tools for meditation, healing, and self-realization. These sacred shapes are a visual map for spiritual growth and each yantra is associated with a particular Divine energy and sound vibration. Some consider Yantras to be an art form, while others understand them to be psychological transmissions of the Divine that carry the ability to activate our spiritual progress.
During this weekend workshop we will:

Go through the process of painting a Yantra beginning with a template to outline our chosen Yantra and trace it to a canvas.
Explore the colors and shapes of our Yantras and immerse ourselves in the sacred sounds of mantra.
Bring the Yantra to life through Puja (sacred ceremony) to invoke the energy and deity associated with the Mantra
Transfer that energy into the physical artwork through chanting and meditation.

No experience with painting necessary to experience the transformative power of these healing arts!  You will be supported and guided to let the spirit move through you in a completely judgment-free space while creating your very own Yantra through the process.
Testimonials:
"One of the most centering and freeing meditations I've ever done! I just loved the creative freedom, artistic guidance, and chanting that led my spirit to my most Zen place. Extraordinary." - Denise Gordon

"It was a wonderful experience sharing this process, taking the time to focus, and be open to a new perspective beyond our own. This is a joy we can all benefit from." -Kathy Tebo
