Regardless of age and fitness level, we can all use chair yoga poses at some point in life. We spend so much time in chairs; why not make some of that time into a yoga practice?
We can develop strength, balance, flexibility, improved range of motion, confidence and more with Chair Yoga. Gentle chair Yoga is great after injuries, if you’ve put on weight, or just feel out of shape or tired from the stress of life. It has helped people with health issues like high blood pressure, anxiety, arthritis, depression, insomnia, fatigue, and chronic pain.
With the aid of a chair, you will learn:
A personalized set of Yoga poses plus options and variations
Chair yoga poses for strength, mobility/flexibility, balance,
alignment, posture
Yogic breathing practices for health and happiness
Yoga meditation
Deep Relaxation/Yoga Nidra
Options are given for doing the yoga poses sitting in a chair, standing with the support of a chair or using the chair to get down to the floor, comfortably and safely.
Various practical, easy ways of using a chair for your yoga practices are offered.
All are welcome to join ,from beginner to experienced.

Accommodation
Availability of complimentary accommodations is determined by the order of booking.
Dormitory
The most popular accommodations we have are Dormitory Accommodations – shared room and shared bath. We have two dormitories, Vivekananda Vihar and Ramalinga Nilayam, which are centrally heated and air-conditioned and convenient to meals and programs.
Lotus Guest House (Private Room)
Each room in our six unit guest house is equipped with a small refrigerator, queen size bed and full bath. Each room in our nine unit guest house is equipped with a queen sized bed and full bath, and no refrigerator.
Tenting
Set off in a quiet, wooded area adjacent to the Lotus Guest Houses are twelve campsites. Campers have use of the bathroom, shower, and laundry facilities nearby Vivekananda Vihar dormitory. Camping is available from March 15th to December 1st.
