### 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Phuket, Thailand
All Yoga Training’s **200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Phuket, Thailand** is a 23-day intensive program for yoga practitioners who want to deepen their personal practice and develop the practical skills, knowledge and confidence required to teach yoga.
The course takes place in **Phuket**, combining an intensive training environment with the ease and accessibility of one of Thailand’s best-connected island destinations. Students train in a beautiful setting close to the ocean, with accommodation, food and everyday amenities available nearby.
The program is rooted in **Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga**, providing students with a strong and structured foundation for both their own practice and their future teaching. Throughout the training, students also explore Creative Vinyasa, alignment, anatomy, yoga philosophy, pranayama, meditation, teaching methodology and practical teaching skills.
A central part of the course is the **Modified Ashtanga Primary Series**. Students learn the sequence progressively throughout the training, developing a deeper understanding of the postures, transitions, breath, alignment and modifications. This provides graduates with a clear sequence they can continue practising and confidently begin teaching after the course.
The training is not focused only on performing postures. A significant amount of time is dedicated to understanding **how to teach yoga effectively**.
Students begin developing their teaching skills early in the course through small-group exercises, supervised teaching practice, sequencing workshops and regular feedback from the teaching team. By the end of the training, students have gained practical experience standing in front of a group, giving clear instructions, observing students and adapting a practice to different abilities.
### Daily Training
A typical training day begins with **kriya, pranayama and meditation**, followed by a morning asana practice.
Later sessions explore subjects such as anatomy, yoga philosophy and teaching methodology. Afternoon workshops focus on practical topics including alignment, adjustments, asana clinics, transitions, backbends, arm balances and inversions.
Students also experience different approaches to practice throughout the course, including guided Ashtanga Vinyasa, Vinyasa Flow, Mysore-style practice and slower restorative sessions.
The schedule is intensive, but the aim is to create a progressive learning experience where students have time to practise, study, teach and integrate what they are learning.

### A Strong Focus on Teaching
One of the priorities of All Yoga Training is ensuring that students do more than simply complete 200 hours of study.
Throughout the course, students repeatedly practise **actually teaching yoga**.
Teaching exercises gradually progress from working with individual poses and small groups to sequencing and leading longer sections of a class. Students receive feedback from both trainers and fellow students, helping them identify what is working and where they can improve.
This practical approach is intended to make the transition from yoga student to yoga teacher feel much more natural.
### Who Is This Training For?
The training is suitable for yoga practitioners who want to become teachers as well as students who simply want to take their personal practice and understanding of yoga much deeper.
You do not need to be an advanced practitioner or be able to perform difficult poses before joining. What matters more is having a **consistent yoga practice, curiosity and willingness to learn**.
Approximately six months of regular yoga practice is recommended before beginning the course.
### Small-Group Learning
All Yoga Training places a strong emphasis on maintaining an intimate learning environment rather than running very large teacher training groups.
A smaller cohort allows students to receive more direct feedback during teaching practice, asana clinics and workshops, while also creating a stronger sense of community within the group.
Students spend almost every day practising, studying and teaching together, and this shared experience often becomes an important part of the training itself.
### Training in Phuket
Phuket offers a balance between an intensive yoga training environment and the convenience of a well-connected destination.
The island has an international airport with direct and connecting flights from many major cities, making the training relatively easy to reach compared with more remote yoga destinations in Thailand.
Outside training hours and on scheduled rest periods, students can enjoy Phuket’s beaches, cafés, local restaurants and tropical surroundings.
Accommodation and meals are generally arranged separately, giving students the flexibility to choose an option that suits their preferred comfort level and budget.
