As a former nurse, Tamara realized early on that compassion is at the heart of healing. This understanding led her to explore holistic well-being, becoming a breathworker, bodyworker, Reiki practitioner, and yoga teacher. Her journey into plant medicine and indigenous healing traditions deepened when she trained under a Mestizo Maestro and, more recently, a Shipibo Maestro from Peru. Her work is a bridge between modern therapeutic practices and ancient indigenous wisdom. She facilitates and leads psychedelic retreats with The Medicine Tribe, and Beckley Retreats, integrating music, somatic healing, and energy work to guide people through their personal transformations. Singing is one of the ways of sharing her medicine. Beyond her role as a facilitator, Tamara has an extensive entrepreneurial and financial background. She has worked in finance and project administration, overseeing budget management for monumental building restorations, ensuring financial integrity in large- scale projects. She has also owned and managed a restaurant, bringing together her passion for hospitality, community, and well-being. Tamara is actively involved in harm reduction and psychedelic education, collaborating with ICEERS and Liaan to train facilitators in safety protocols. She also works with the FOP (Fellowship Of Psychonauts) to develop training programs for spaceholders, ensuring ethical and effective facilitation. Her vision is not just about guiding individual healing journeys but about creating a movement for accessible, responsible, and deeply respectful psychedelic work. Through Mother’s House Foundation, she is dedicated to funded retreats, community programs, and facilitator training, ensuring that healing is not a privilege but a right available to all. For her, this is not just a profession—it’s a calling and a way of life.

From Law Enforcement to Deep Healing: A Journey of Transformation For most of my life, I lived with my feet firmly on the ground—rooted in structure, discipline, and the tangible world. My mind was sharp, my spirit steady, and I navigated life with resilience, accepting challenges as they came. Yet beneath the surface, I felt a quiet pull toward something greater—an unseen dimension beyond the limits of daily existence. I explored it in secrecy but never truly broke through. That all changed when I discovered breathwork and immersed myself in transformational retreats. Through these experiences, my perception expanded, and a doorway opened—to deeper self-awareness, universal connection, and profound inner healing. I began to understand not just the mind but the intelligence of the body and spirit, setting me on an entirely new path. For four years, I dedicated myself to this journey, evolving into a breath coach, bodyworker, applied psychologist, water pourer (sweat lodge), space holder, and musician. With each step, I deepened my knowledge of trauma, healing, and the unseen forces that shape our experiences. Then, I made the most profound shift of all—I left behind a 12.5-year career in the police force. A world built on rules, authority, and control had given me structure, resilience, and the ability to stay present in the most intense situations. But it also showed me something deeper: how trauma manifests, how fear holds people back, and how healing can be found even in the most unexpected places. Though the fields of law enforcement and holistic healing may seem worlds apart, my past has uniquely shaped me for this work. I am an integrative practitioner who takes a transpersonal, holistic and person- centred approach using tools such as hypnosis, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), neurolinguistic programming (NLP), EFT (tapping), breathwork, meditation and spiritual exploration to create and hold space for you to awaken to your own inner healing intelligence and innate wisdom. I am dedicated to exploring and integrating altered states of consciousness for healing and growth. I have facilitated clients in their inner healing journeys through issues such as; anxiety, depression, relationships and heartbreak, overcoming addictions and habits, fears and phobias, past traumas, insomnia, increasing confidence and self-esteem and integrating psychedelic experiences. I have spent years exploring and practicing breathwork, meditation, yoga, mindfulness, plant medicines, spirituality and nature connectedness for my own development and use these as tools in my transpersonal therapeutic practice. Since a young age I have had a curious mind and always felt a connection to something greater than myself. I completed a Philosophy degree and knew that I did not want to end up in the corporate system. I spent 12 years fundraising for local charities before following my calling to help people on a deeper level. Since experiencing a kundalini awakening, I am now called more than ever to support others on their journey of awakening. After completing a professional certificate in psychedelics, altered states and transpersonal psychology, and through my own experience, I have learned the importance of receiving support to integrate psychedelic and mystical experiences and am passionate about doing this work.
