Antigua & Volcano Experience - 3 Nights

🌋 After our time on the lake, the adventure continues in historic Antigua, where we’ll savor local cuisine and prepare for the grand finale: an overnight trek to Acatenango Volcano. Guided safely by local experts, we’ll camp above the clouds, gazing at a starlit sky as Volcán Fuego erupts in fiery bursts before our eyes. Watching molten lava light up the darkness is more than breathtaking—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime, soul-stirring experience you’ll carry with you forever.

* * The Acatenango hike is a strenuous overnight trek featuring approximately 8.5-9 miles (13.7-14 km) round trip with a significant elevation gain of around 5,250-5,300 feet (1,600 meters), culminating at a summit height of roughly 13,000 feet (3,976 meters). The hike is considered difficult, involving steep, continuous climbing on loose volcanic gravel and thin air at high elevations, often taking 5-7 hours to reach base camp, followed by an early morning push to see sunrise from the summit.

This is one of our favorite adventures on the planet! Space is incredibly limited.
