Sacred Journeys retreats was founded by Angel Amita in 2014.

After a powerful stay in Mount Shasta in California, the first earth chakra, she was guided to return to Peru and start these retreats.

Angel was born in Norway and soon found that she felt very drawn to explore sacred places on the planet. Her first big journey was to India as soon as she finished high school. After that Angel has explored more than 33 countries and lived in Peru since 2012.

Angel has been practicing yoga and meditation daily for almost 24 years and has been teaching in various countries since 2002. Angel is passionate about helping to raise the consciousness on this planet and help people heal. She also feels that part of her life - mission is to help restore balance in nature. Angel has been an active landhealer since 2012 helping to create the world wide earth- healing grid network. She is also an active healer, seeing clients from various countries. She has been running several retreats in Peru since 2014 and the community is now growing big!

Located between the tropical jungles in the Cusco region in Peru hides a wonder of the world~ Machu Picchu!

Join us as we guide you for a full day of meditation, hikes, coca leaf ceremony, and intentional work. And two more days of waterfalls hike, yoga and guided meditations, delicious meals, healing work, and guided tours.

And hike one of the major mountains by the sacred city as well as do a guided tour with an experienced indigenous guide.

Spend two nights in a comfortable 4-star hotel with a spacious yoga hall on the 8th floor with views of the surrounding mountains.

Fly to Lima airport ( LIM) on a separate flight, fly domestic to Cusco (CUZ).
We recommend you book directly on airlines sites and book refundable / changeable flights
It is important to arrive in Cuzco the day before or earlier to rest and get used to the altitude before retreat starts. We arrange safe and affordable airpoct pickup.

A Once In A Lifetime Journey!

Angel's Machu Picchu 4 day journey was awesome! She's the perfect host to guide as she's a healer, has passion for the area and is very knowledgeable. Her energy also attracts the right participants who need to be there too, as I was grateful to share this experience with such beautiful souls. The energy of the sacred spaces will stay with me forever. It was very healing and I highly recommend!

Inspiring trip

I am really happy I went on this retreat, it was an amazing combination of seeing mystical ruins, spiritual practices, and hanging out and meeting other people from around the world. Angel is a great hostess as she has found the happy medium between leading the group while allowing flexibility in the schedule so everyone is at ease. There are so many people giving tours in Peru but she is someone who actually deeply loves Machu Picchu and her passion is contagious. I enjoyed having the daily meditation and yoga in the morning to start the day— it was the perfect way to find balance and relaxation before a busy day of hiking and activities. I would definitely recommend the retreat for anyone who wants to see Machu Picchu in a more conscious way. Thanks!

Angel hosts a truly mind blowing retreat that I would HIGHLY recommend everyone experience! Extremely adventurous and beautifully balanced with many spiritual opportunities, this is a once in a lifetime experience I will carry with me forever. Angel wormed her way into my heart even before the retreat began and has remained a dear friend even after.
Peru has the most exquisite energy and this retreat was such a perfect way to get to experience that with the guidance of Angel, a true spiritual guide, empath and healer. For anyone considering going, don’t think twice, this trip is definitely worth every penny. It was definitely a life changing experience for me and part of my heart will always remain!

Fabulous retreat

Over 2 years have passed since I attended Angel’s Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu retreat and I still consider it one of my favourite experiences. It was elevating and energizing and profoundly moving. The scenery was absolutely stunning and the ruins were amazing. Angel has a very compassionate and generous soul. She puts so much of herself into making the retreat special. I cannot recommend it enough.
