Why study with them?
Satu – Guardian of the North, healer, and guide of gentle transformation
I am Satu: an entrepreneur, the hostess of the Northern realm, a caregiver, a social welfare specialist, a therapist – and above all, a mother. I walk deeply rooted in this northern land, carrying the quiet wisdom of the wild with me wherever I go. Nature is sacred to me; its soft power, cleansing stillness, and healing presence form the foundation of all my work.
My Approach
I work at the intersection of therapy, nervous system regulation, and body-based recovery. My approach is based on a simple understanding: many people today are not lacking rest — they are lacking the ability to fully recover.
In my work, I combine:
Nervous system regulation
Body-based methods
Finnish nature-based practices, including peat therapy
Peat therapy is used as a grounding, body-based method to support deep relaxation. Together with an osteopath, I also co-create recovery experiences that combine hands-on treatment with nervous system support. My focus is not on performance or pushing change, but on creating a safe environment where the body can begin to release tension and return to a state of recovery. I work especially with individuals experiencing stress, burnout, and difficulty slowing down.
Expertise & Inclusion
I am proud of my Northern heritage, where values grow strong and steady like the moss-covered forest floor. From these roots, I support my clients in discovering their own strength, beauty, and worth.
I work as a therapist with disabled clients, neurodivergent clients, and members of and gender minorities. I believe wholeheartedly that every person is entitled to a rich and fulfilling Each of us deserves to feel desired, worthy of love, and touched in ways that nurture our inner aliveness.
The Sacred Sauna
Sauna is also a sacred part of my Northern roots. For me, the sauna is more than warmth; it is a space of purification, grounding, and quiet transformation. In its steam, the body softens, the mind settles, and something essential opens. I see the sauna as a healing ritual—an ancient meeting place of body, spirit, and nature—and its wisdom influences the way I guide clients toward presence, embodiment, and deep rest.
